Why did you choose your Class

Second one was a Thief, and yes, because of Iruga ;3
Third one was an Acolyte, cause I thought that most of the priests are very unfriendly not to heal if you spam an help emotion!
...yeah, I was very nubish to that point XD
Anyway, I tried to level my Thief back than, with low dex, low equipment, and it was no fun. I made another Thief later, becoming Rogue, which was way more fun.
But than one day my first Thief reached Job Lv 50 (I never change below that) and became an Assassin.
In the moment she did her first crits I totally fell in love for that Class. That's why she'll always be my main Character.
Directly followed by my Priest (the Aco back than), just because I love to play as Full Supporter ^^

I met a girl named Piroko, a merchant, and we formed a party. The party grew as we progressed, from snakes with what appeared to be max attack speed on to peco peco... Now that I think about it, seemed like everything had max attack speed. Eventually we ran into a petite while exploring and that stopped thing ran us off quick. After a little leveling, Piroko left to overcharge some loot we got and share. Eventually, I ended up at rockers and a guy in a sakkat adorned in royal purple cloth walked on screen. He took one quick look at a nearby monster, rushed up to it and crit it down in one swing. My jaw dropped and immediately assumed he was a ninja of some sort. I asked him what he was and he told me. I've been on that path since then: assassin. Couldn't afford SS cards so was "nautral crit" before the term actually existed.

Later on, I started WoEing with my Knight and saw some Grand Cross build Crusaders tear up our castle defenders. I decided to start my own after that, and she was my favorite for a while. (She's a Paladin now after going through hell after hell of leveling, but I switched her to a Sacrifice/Rapid Smiting build with Renewal. Might level her to Royal Guard eventually, we'll see.)
After a few more months of playing, I remembered overhearing my alliance leaders on Ventrilo going around MVPing, and one of them played a high level VIT Knight. He used to complain about how all the Monks would try to take his MVP kills. I also remembered seeing and talking to this group of MVP monks who used to always hang out right outside Orc Dungeon. One time I saw like 3 of them G-Fist Orc Lord at the same time while it was running around pwning nubs at the entrance...lol that was pretty awesome. xD
So eventually I made my own Acolyte to become an MVP G-Fist Monk, after realizing how effective it was. Eventually I got her to Champion. And more recently, Sura (after taking a few breaks from RO and coming back for Renewal.) I would solo, explore, play around in dungeons and stuff, in fact I did a lot more than just MVP. To this day, she's still my main and my favorite character! <3
[Side note about that guild full of MVP monks on Chaos, I think it was called "Free Agents" or something. It was kind of a non-WoE guild, but it disbanded at approximately the same time I made my own MVP/Leveling guild. I guess it was kind of a lucky break for me...some of their elite members joined my guild within a day of me creating it, lol.]

I've always liked casters, so I had all 3, although the priest never made it to trans. I especially liked Wizzie, and it became my main, made it to 99/70, and was a lot of fun to play. I liked the way their spells combo and flow together, and there's all sorts of little tricks you learn as you play it more. They're extremely fragile of course, but they're the classic glass cannon, and also have plenty of tricks to avoid taking hits.
Post-Renewal:
Lock is as fragile as HWizzie was, yet does less damage than the tanks, making him basically useless. Of the 5 characters that were decently leveled, 3 were casters, 1 was a sniper, and then there's smith... which is actually playable in Renewal.
For now, Smith has become my main as melee is pretty much required in current RO. It's a bit boring pre 3rd job, but Mado looks fun, and seems like something good to play until they finally balance the classes. For now, that's my main. I've made it to 9x trans, so I should be 3rd job reasonably soon. I really hope casters and rangers become playable again, but I don't have much hope for that happening any time in the next year or so.

After the tree came out and I realized I couldn't max Heal and Sacrifice as a Crusader but I figured I'd just go with the class anyway since I'd already been waiting months as a semi-perma-swordie for its release. Leveling a pure Sac-Sader pre-renewal was a beezy though.

He chose to play a Sorcerer because he "is" stupid. Not because he "was" stupid. Then again, at times like this you're supposed to say he chose to play a Sorcerer out of lack of knowledge about the class.

i kinda like how everyone takes your "services" for granted and demands heal, buffs, free warps and resurections etc. of course always without the slightest expression of gratitude if you do help, because it is your goddamn job to be their personal slave. it's fun when you're in a group and you never get a single item because everyone in melee range is faster in picking them up. so instead of making any money you blow money out for blue gems and holy water.
i think i like to hate people, that's why i like being priest (or AB).
