Okay, we have two weapons up for discussion.

1) Jur[3] = 125 Atk, Level 2 Weapon
2) Specialty Jur[4] = 90 Atk, Level 1 Weapon

At +10, Jur[3] = 125+(10x3) = 155 Atk
At +11, Specialty Jur[4] = 90+(11x2) = 112 Atk

I want to card them with Mobster Cards = +15% Critical Dmg, [Thief Class] +4 Critical Rate

Which would deal more damage with Critical Hits?

+10 Triple Aural Jur OR +11 Quadruple Aural Specialty Jur?????

Is the difference in the weapons original Atk, 155-112 = 43 Atk significant enough to allow the +10 Triple Aural Jur to deal more/equal to damage than the +11 Quadruple Aural Specialty Jur?

I've been trying to research on my own with Stat Calculators but it seems like something's wrong with the calculations. Somebody help me out, please! Thanks!

I believe the higher weapon attack is much more important with Renewal. No real way I can prove this though sorry.

You want the regular Jur over the specialty jur. Assuming you have 1 str the regular jur would out perform the specialty jur.

What class is this for?? Sin? SinX? GX? There might be better options.

Thank you both for taking the time to read my question. I'm currently a SinX. I don't know if I want to stay as a Crit GX. But it's so addictive, lol. Well I'm not aiming for a 90++ Str build cuz I still need to pump some Luk. From what I understand, lower weapon atk has to be accounted for with high Str, right? I'm actually thinking of going for the Thief Set. Sounds fun. So now my new weapon card combo would be 3xMobster+1xPaper Cards. Allowing for a 15x3+20%=65% more crit dmg. Also, looking for a +7 Lil Feeather Hat so my extra crit dmg would be 65+20=85% more crit dmg! Whaddaya guys think?

Well if you look at it from a very simplistic point of view and not inlcuding any status atk calcs.

+11 specialty jur (112atk) with 3xMobster+1xPaper Cards and a +7 little feather hat bonus (85% crit dmg bonus) would yield
112*1.4(crit dmg)*1.85 = ~290 dmg

+10 jur (155atk) with 2xMobster+1xPaper Cards and a +7 little feather hat bonus (70% crit dmg bonus) would yield
155*1.4(crit dmg)*1.7 = ~369 dmg

Having a high multiplier against a low base value doesn't always yield the best results. Factor in 90 str for 45% more weapon atk and 90 points of raw dmg and that difference gets even higher.
