Watching some of my anime tonight and didnt notice the side ads until I was done, and when I clicked on it I went to warpportal /woot.
I know a while ago people were complaining about iROs lack of advertisment, so incase you were wondering here are the ads.

A longggggg time ago, it was an ad I saw on ign.com that got me into this game in the first place, so its nice to see them again.

haha. those are nice and quite different from what you can find in the wp page rite now. i dont know how to really describe it but they look asexual to me. while in the wp site all females look.... well, you know how they look.

I like the ads(the few that are) for iRO.

They have a nice tone to themselves, and I would love to see more. Even Requiem' Eden Eternal has more advertisement, I'm talking about sites like funnyjunky.com that get hundreds and thousands of hits ever second.


The only thing I really don't like about Warpportal, are the mascots.

They seem so plain and lifeless. Drawn moe/non-moe characters reflect much more personality and life than the current mascots. Get someone to draw everything and make it full of life.



I swear, do this and you will see some change in the .. cold-wibe you tend to get. When I look at the Warpportal forum banner, I tend to get chills because they look so vectorized and plain. I don't feel like I could spot a soul from them in a way.

More like the "Play Now! My Lord!" Evony ads.

It's kinda ironic how in RO you can actually interact and play with (or "as", if that's more your thing) sexy girl characters if you want to. In Evony, you build cities where the people (including the "sexy girl characters" from the ads) are smaller than the pixels in the period at the end of this sentence in-game.

Imagine if iRO made their advertisements go on real hot chicks dressed scantily!

They would get.. actually thousands to check it out. Evony got tens and thousands to play theirs because of their heavy and sexy-related advertisement campaign.

Bit off topic but ya know I don't know how commercials are on TV in other parts of the world...well maybe I do for some...but here in the US I've noticed that lots of innocent type things have been putting bikini girls and what not SOMEHOW in their commercials, and its like "really? you had to go there to sell some kind of asthma drug that you need an Rx for in the first place to get!?!?!" Just some things don't go well together.

Well, technically; Sex sells. If Gravity really wanted to up their player count they would advertise heavily.


Instead they're putting resources into improving the game itself, from their own perspective and means, as well as limits.

I think it's a good thing that advertisement for iRO isn't too high, but the lack of it is bad.

Well at least our sprite's art is actually kind of... *shudders thinking about female GX outfit on a cosplay* I'm never cosplaying as my original main character again T_T
