I don't think the economies being similar is that great a factor but rather population.
If anything i'd say if possible there should be some inter-server woes with a max number to each alliance and no god items/mvp cards.

This idea is so horrible you should be banned.
I'm gonna have to agree. sorry OP.
Chaos Loki Iris Sakray mess was more than enough.. Leave things be...
Imagine if you had to handle overflows for this?
You'd end up with at least 6++ accounts total if you had overflow from the previous mergers and added more characters to those accounts too.

Speaking purely about game design, the best option would have probably been to delete all the god items and their parts and let the server fight out its own brand new set of god items. It would make WoE feel like it has a lot more purpose and each new god item would carry the weight that such an item should hold instead of it being about as common place as flip flops. In the past God items were the crowning achievement of a guild, now they are common equipment for some. The difference between damage those who have these items and those who do not are huge, and monopolies on these items tend to self perpetuate the problem, as those guilds attract numbers and have a major advantage in WoE. They can control the production on certain god item pieces at that point and force those in possession of other common pieces to sell for lack of use.
Then again, if they did that the streets would be running red with blood to this day, so kind of a no win solution.

Nobody wants a mostly-bot-filled server with copious amounts of god items either.
Base line is:
Don't merge.

It is a terrible idea, but funny how those saying no to this aren't even the people with the most to lose anyway.

Let's see who's gonna win: people with God items vs bots with unlimited supply of healing items?

How exactly is more number off god items and mvp cards bad? inst it just going to even out the competition?
Or are some people afraid they might loose the illusion of Elite based on their god items and not on their actual game play?
I am sure you all have seen enough share of good players who don't use any god items.
if any thing they would make god items more affordable
Gosh, my completely innocent reply got deleted from this topic.
NO. Guilds need things to aim for, people need goals. That is why rare items exist. To have something special to strive for. If they want god items to be common they'll put them in the kafra shop.

I really hope our CM's/GM's aren't oblivious enough to think an idea like merging these two servers is even worth discussing further than anything that is written on the front page or the amount of -rep OP has.Less fightin' more writin.'
Er wait.

Despite petty fights any request for this thread to continue discussing this idea sounds rather idiotic.I think it's more to do with me and Jaye fighting needing to go away =p
Someone just close this thread for the love of god before Gravity finds some reason to actually do this.

No. I was implying that after such a merge the game would become non-premium and bots would pop up everywhere, you'd have a mayhem of god items left and right, big guilds botting up and down.
You get the point.

Please no.
Valk is fine without Golden Thief Bug Cards. Ymir has been around for much longer with higher drop rates and such, so there are even more MVP cards and God Items.
There would be too many guilds for WoE. New realms would need to be added to balance things out for all of the low and mid tier guilds.
The strain on the servers would be awful as well. Imagine those WoE realms 2x as laggy as they currently are. Do not want.
So... In short, no. Pleaseeeee no. =/

rather not infect ymir with anymore valk-bot trash. not everyone is like that, but the majority of that crap would rather not deal with. ymir should absorb the -_-ty test server however, since it was really stupid to make it anyways
