Hello everyone. For those of you who competed (or aspired to compete) in USRC, Sakray has been reverted to pre-renewal settings and has the USRC NPCs set up for practice. You can choose to start off in the novice training grounds, or go directly to the testing NPCs.

Why not creating 2 test servers? One for the USRC stuff, and the other one for the Renewal stuff [Balance patches, new episodes, (maybe) quests...]

gotta admit, I love doing USRC every year. The only downside is getting people together for practice times. It would be nice to have a separate server for it though.

Now that I think about it, USRC with 3rd jobs would be in insane pile of confusion. What would even be a team? Chaser, Sura, Genetic, RK, Maestro, AB, and RG?

So at this point would having a pre-renewal USRC/RWC 2 years in a row basically be admitting to failure? How many USRC/RWC's were pre-trans after trans classes came out?

I don't know. But that stuff that should be called "test server" is used for USRC, instead of proper testing. Why not creating an "USRC server" and start testing those KRO changes on the real Sakray? hehe~

I don't mind having pre-renewal events. I am just not liking the idea of Sakray being "wasted" for USRC... An event that will only be back next year.

I guess the gms realized how badly iro sucks during the rwc and is hinting we need practice.

Pretty sure no one bar a handful of people on the same team or two teams on completely different timezones will even bother with this usrc practice thing. During the last usrc, there was like 8 people on the server, 7 of which were playing legacy ro.

Choosing the USRC option warps me into a room with three NPCs, for base level, job level and Sprakki (sp?). None of them respond. Clicking them does nothing. Tried multiple times with different characters. So I made a new character and followed the normal route - doing the training grounds and stuff.

Am I missing something here? How do I quickly become max level and any job I want to test builds and items?

Edit: It's working now with my fourth character. Oh well. Everything is fine now.

Sakray Pre-Renewal settings? USRC looks awesome, I still got my Sakray but how you will make a pre-renewal char and qualify to join? /hmm

I spammed the npcs for about a minute before one responded...the order is -> Job Level NPC, Sprakki, and then Base Level NPC and then you should figure it out from there....

I seem to have the same npc problem from time to time on iRO Ymir...GMs should look into this /hint.

If I make a char in Pre-Renewal Sakray now, is this the char I can use for USRC? And please dont limit the NPCs to 90/60 since only few players go to Sakray... /gawi

Nah nothing wrong with the npcs, they dont respond when you are warped in, just relog and kog back in and it should work

the npcs willare broke i am at job 10 with 1 char and have 12 exter job point.
and no npc to worp you out . why are you traped in the room?
and why when chosing normel ro you dc?

so sak is un usable.
