Let's do an opinion 'survey'.

Who wants a pvp environment as well as a siege environment where you cannot bring in MvP cards, no god items and you can only use pre-trans characters?

If you're a moderator reading this, please add a poll consisting of these options:

1. I would LOVE having Vanilla Pre-Trans WoE and PvP! (It's like melted mithril mixed with a golden fire that tastes like the sweetest milk in the entire universe, poured over my steaming hot, ready body waiting to taste the supple taste of 1-1 and 1-2 classes duking it out in the immersive realms of Midgard.)

2. I don't care.

3. No, I would not like that one bit.

4. Haha! Vanilla is an ice cream flavor, you donkey-nosed piano-face!
(I'm horribly illiterate and have no clue what a Vanilla-mode RO environment is, I also eat flies and shoelaces while squatting over a moldy wooden log)

5. Only without renewal mechanics and no healing items allowed. (Bring priests back into the action!)

If it's with renewal physics, then my opinion would be option 3: wouldn't like it one bit.

In the event WoEs, there were pre-trans WoEs without any god items or significant-effect MvP/mini cards. In my opinion, it was slow pace and tank classes really didn't die to much of anything. I could see how it could be more fun for more people, at first, due to survivability being higher all around. After a while, though, I would guess people would get bored.

I don't have much experience with pre-trans PvP in renewal physics, so no opinion there.

I updated with a option 5., so there is some "if it was balanced" into the equation.

I for one, would like it. Perhaps as you said, with old mechanics but I think renewal would still be refreshing.

Ninjas

Ninja killing stroke really did crap to peco classes in the event woes. I know I played a crusader with ~26k HP and even the stronger lexxed g fists were only doing around 1/2 the HP bar.

Were you able to kill a Ninja in a 1vs1 situation though? Surviving KS wasn't hard for me at all either on my Knight, but they can be pretty annoying.

Kill a ninja with my crusader, not really at all, but in WoE it didn't matter that much because in offense it was often more important to attack an emp or interrupt casters or defender sac various people. On defense, an area could be casted with persistent aoe magic (like storm gust) and a ninja would die almost immediately after using KS.

I guess a precast would be the exception. :V
