I've been saving and farming stuff lately, and I was recently told about a card that drops from a mob called Noxious. It reduces neutral damage by 10% AND ranged attacks by 10%.
Now, when compared to the Raydric card, which reduces neutral damage by 20%, it seems interesting.
Would the Noxious card be more of a PvP/WoE card, or can it be pretty viable and used 24/7 in place of a Raydric for PvM?

Pure WoE/PVP: Noxious
PvM: Raydric
Magic is considered long-ranged, so for skills like SD, wizard skills, etc. noxious would be better. Raydric would be used in WoE for reducing gfist damage, but if you have no hope of surviving anyway I would say get noxious.

Shame, a Noxious is about 40 mil cheaper than a Raydric too ;\
Thanks for the WoE tips, but I'm pure PvM right now. Would it be a sort of situation aspect between the two, where you'd use Noxious in certain situations over a Raydric?

Yeah. Most people just use raydric though.
As an aside, the way that the resistances stack makes the damage reduction only 19% against ranged neutral attacks.
