When I sit down here I have a huge number of choices of what to do with my free time.

I read a few things, watch a few new flash animations, really I procrastinate on making a hard choice.

That being: Should I play iRO, or should I play Minesweeper?

Since I started choosing between these two, Minesweeper has won, unanimously.

I want to play RO - no scratch that. I want to want to play RO, but I sit there and think - why? The game is so god damn broken, so exploited, so... illegit. Why should I sign on when it is impossible to compete? I don't have +11 Valkarmor of Gee Bae, like every single other worthwhile player in this game does. And I say worthwhile and mean it. If you don't have the gear, you aren't worthwhile. If you don't have the gear, the game isn't worthwhile. I don't have the gear, my characters aren't worthwhile, and neither is the game.

I know this. It is there, black and white, perfectly logical sense. It has made sense to me for years, half a decade or more. The only reason I kept playing till the merge, till renewal, because there were people I liked, because there were fights that meant something to me.

But people moved on to different guilds or out of the game completely.

But the fights and wars became meaningless extensions of forum trolling.

And other than people or WoE, what reason is there to play this game? That is a rhetorical question, because the answer is obvious: there is no damn reason.

The only people left who play seem to be either kawaii weeaboos or trolling jagoffs. I don't give a damn about the former, and as far as I know the latter don't give a damn about me.

Until recently, WoE was a butt-picking contest to see how much castles you could farm, to see how big you could NAP. But I understand this may have changed. That possibility is why I am posting now.

I don't want to join a weeaboo guild full of people who buttered up their asses to be ruled over. I don't want to join a guild who just wants to snipe castles for the lulz/loot. I don't want to be in a guild that politics the server. I don't want to sit on my ass and spam F1 in an empty castle.

What I do want, what would give me motivation to sign on and level, to play, to do something more entertaining with my time than try and beat 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 seconds on beginner minesweeper... what would get me back onto RO is WoE where I can fight with Valour. I'm not very smart. I tower dive with drow at level 3, trying to get finish off pugna. I die, I lose, I don't give-a-damn. I don't expect people to share my sentiments. I do want to join a guild that would, as a point of Honour, sacrifice every potential other castle they could take in order to fight for their goals. I want to join a guild that always chooses to fight.

I want to join a guild that plays to win, and isn't afraid to lose.

I don't even know if such a thing exists. Or if it did, whether or not they would have me. But I am not blind to what is going on in WoE. In a year since the merge and renewal, this is the first time that there is the possibility for a legitimate fight. I believe that this may be the only chance to get I get at finding the kind of guild I want to be in.

I like this chick/guy. Would however help if you mentioned which server you are on. Id say come join the Valkyrie players guild but we don't woe. Good luck in minesweeper.
