If it installed and it loaded the Launcher, but failed at the patch server that would be a server issue not a client/download one.

what did the error say, besides just can not find the patch server or was that it?

This wasn't that helpfull to be honest when i try downloading it takes me to an page that says an internet error occured even when i have full internet connection. It is not my computer or at least i hope that since mine is a newer model

So you got it downloaded, and while installing it did not save a folder to your computer?

You can try

• Start
• Search
• Rose Online

See if it shows up, if nothing else the Installer should. Run the Installer as an administrator and try again. Be sure to delete the current install.

• Start
• Control Pannel
• Programs/Uninstall programs
• Rose Online

Game Download Guide

Hello once again Roserians,

I have seen lately a fair number of people straggling with downloading the game. So I decided to write down a couple of things and give some guidance and save them from some trouble. The official download location is known and in order to proceed with the download you ll have to log in to the site something that is necessary to prevent unnecessary server speed leeching. There are a few ways to download the game client and all will be explained bellow.

Why I cannot download the game from the official site ?

Can be many reasons really such as your country location, because of an unstable Internet connection with many errors, poorly configured wireless/lan or even a bugged browser/system. This might prevent or even corrupt the downloaded setup without you always noticing at first sight which will give you problems during installation that you will not be able to overcome.

How to ensure a proper game download ?
There is a very easy way that can ensure you that your setup download has been done properly and its not corrupted something that will result in various error messages during installation or even in game. The program is called HashCalc and can be downloaded from here. I wont get into details about what a hash checking is but all I am going to say is that every file has a unique hash number and no matter if you download it or move it, this number will remain the same. So I will provide here this hash number so that you can compare it with yours and confirm that the setup you downloaded is correctly downloaded.

Below there is a pic explaining the simple steps you need to follow to get your hash number for your RoseOnline setup file:


A very cool alternative is HashTab which adds a hash tab calculator when you click on right click properties.


Remember, some Antivirus Suites detect a ROSE component (TriggerDetect.exe) faulty as virus. This stops the installation/update procedure of the client and finally corrupts it resulting the no start of the game when you press the play button. The list of Antiviruses that faulty detects that ROSE file as virus can be found in the Virus Total Report. It would be wise to keep any antivirus disabled during the installation and update of the game to prevent any conflicts.


Download links from various hosting services with outdated clients are highly not recommended since there is a high chance their update patching to go wrong and crash.
Hash numbers will be provided by me each time the Client Setup is being updated in the official download location.
