hi, i recently made an invoker and i was wondering if there is any attack speed cap for it.

i currently have about 103% attack speed in gear

BD pet: 10% aspd
Hookah Hat: 20% aspd
Hero BD Gloves: 10% aspd
4 star lava set, necklace and ring: 10% aspd
Ryvius's Belt of Verdure set, belt and ring: 15% aspd
Hero BD Earrings of Fortitude: 13% aspd
Legend of Combo Medal: 15% aspd
Blue Tyranno Dinosaur Gloves (IM): 10% aspd


well, sum all of that and i got 103% aspd, i dont know how to count the right way but what im asking is, r there any aspd cap? because when i took the hat, or 2 of the gear that gives aspd, i dont see any difference when i spam x.

anyone care to explain?

as far as i know, there isn't. attack speed is also based on your fps. Also using controllers can help boost your attackspeed as it registers faster and has shorter delays.

to be honest i kind of feel the same way. and i am using a controller. I'm on exactly 100% atk speed and i use the 4star lava 2 pc. for atk speed too, but i have the ryvius purity 2 pc. for back up in case i need a lil extra health. so i loose 10% atk speed when i switch. i have a great computer, great graphics card, fps is wonderful, and i use a controller. I really don't notice the 10% very much if at all. it definately feels like the more atk speed you stack, after a certain percentage, it becomes less noticable.

the weird thing is, when i use the couple atk speed buff (15%) the difference with it on and with it off is veeeeeeery clear...

Well considering there is now an FPS cap in Dragon Saga, I'd imagine that means there's a cap on how much ASPD you can stack before you're attacking as fast as your computer/the game's mechanics will allow. I'd say this cap is different for everyone because it depends on how high their FPS goes -- but everyone probably faces the cap imposed by the FPS cap.

You are actually able to get more atk speed by changing some equips:
3* lava neck,
Change to 4* lava belt and ring,
Then get the Ring + Earring of Verdure.

And then for giggles try using explosive powders, guild skill and 8% atkspeed character card.

You can also now socket ASPD bonuses into equipment with the Socketing System via Professions. I've seen bonuses as high as 15% ASPD for a single piece of equipment.

lol ya i have those equips for funsies but dont wear em to boss or anything... &the dr. farrell capsule backpac gives 5% too but i failed and read dragon saga's character card guide as opposed to dragonica's and got 5% instead of 8 </3

would feel kind of like a waste to socket aspd now if theres technically a cap for it

@Rimmy oh the fps cap would make sense ... am a recent player so i wouldn't know much but i think i read somewhere on the forums that someone knew a person that used to play who had such ridiclous atk speed that when they x'd, it was literally a line of red ... but i guess that is not possible anymore p_q

maybe the mixture of mutisha shoulder, mutisha cape and gloves + hookah hat help, thats like 35% extra iff Im not wrong
