I recently bought a brand new gaming keyboard. Its called the Anansi Razer. My new keyboard has the standard F1-F12, but its also has more function keys. The keyboards has M1-M5, and T1-T7. When i play ro it doesnt recognize the new function keys and recplace those function keys with numbers. Not only does it replace the function keys with numbers but sometimes skills/items wont respond with the new function keys. They will only work again if I log out and then log back in. Is there a program out there that will allow ro to recognize my new function keys.

Thanks

You can try pressing esc until you get the menu up, and going to shortcut configuration, and see if it will let you assign the keys as shortcuts. If, on the shortcut screen, it still thinks the new function keys are number keys, then the keyboard is reporting the keypresses as numbers instead of what it should (and it would indicate a problem with the gaming keyboard - do you have their software installed, if any? You probably need it for the new function keys.).

The fact that you're having to log out sometimes to make function keys work implies that the keyboard may be doing something wrong as well - you might have gotten a dodgy keyboard to begin with (either a problem with the one you got, or a design flaw - my money would be on the latter). Many of the "gaming targeted" input devices are of poor design and shoddy implementation, particularly on the software side. Dunno why, but that seems to be the case. I was never able to get the software that came with my gaming keypad or gaming mouse to work as advertised (both razor brand, too!), and had a variety of strange problems with them. As a result they're now sitting on the shelf.
