Why is this poison is not supposed to work on Int build type of characters? Isn't that the point of this poison is to not let the receiver to be able to cast any skills?

Look at a caster. Look at a melee.
Play a caster. Then play a melee.

Then realize that oblivion curse is maybe the only advantage of casters over melee charas. HP mod, higher damage single skills, higher damage AoE skills, better defense, better movement options(mounts, backslide/snap/cartboost), and more etcs I don't feel like thinking ^^;.

What do you do on a caster after you are affected by the several *make your slow casting even slower* skills? Or when you are affected by the several silencing skills like stasis/masquerades/and even obvi curse if you don't have high int after mandra howl?

Or with the multiple skills that force you flinch? (your Gx has a forced flinch which will dissable casters more than obvi curse maybe?) Many melee skills are uninterruptible... I can't remember a single skill from casters which is uninterruptible...

Also after last WoE 2.0 in the Valkyrie castle I don't think anyone here (either side) would want MORE poisons flying around. Thank you very much.

i used like 450-500 antidotes in valk castle, gotta love getting recalled and the entire guilds leech ended cause of frost misty spam

Oblivion curse shouldn't have such an expensive catalyst if it can be resisted. + 1 on the pile of reasons GX suck.

I play casters mostly now and did just before the end of renewal, and I think it's BS to resist it.

True that.. Gx sucks.

But playing a gX can be consider as playing WoE on hard mode. Which is i like the most... With or without buff in the future. Im staying gX.

I think oblivion curse is super cheap. Buy some item like an animal gore or a frozen rose for a couple k zeny, then change it into an izidor with a gx.

End result: oblvions curses for maybe 1k zeny each on average

It looks like you're right with that implication, that frozen roses currently are less optimal for izidor conversion. I guess some people sold me some, during events, for less than it'd NPC for. I think the base NPC price is unchanged (17.5k on prem server and little less on non prem).

Anyway, there are a number of different izidor conversion options and the yield would be multiple oblivion curses per 1 izidor.

Deadly infect gets nerfed to almost near useless in the future. Will only work with short range PHYSICAL attacks.
