Hello, I do not know if i'm posting this in the right area but someone keeps ks'ing my homunculus.. I took photos and such to show proof of this action. It was a ninja in ant hell. I've told him several times to please move to a different area in the map but he did not comply and kept ks'ing.. I'm hoping something gets done about this bothersome issue.

<don't post incriminating screenshots, submit a ticket thru the ticket system please>

I didn't pay to play and have rude people stop me for enjoying the game.
And once again I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area.
Thank you

Just as an alchemist can be held responsible for its homunc KSing players, players can be held responsible for KSing homuncs.

But at the same time, unless your homunc was somehow AoEing those eggs, any egg that is not currently being attacked by your homunculus is still free to attack...

Submit a ticket, though, because that's where ill-manner reports are supposed to go, and where they get responses~

I understand that, and i wouldn't mind if he was just attacking a different group than i was. He was deliberately using his AoE on what i was killing. I 100% agree with you on what you're saying, but people need to be more considerate.

Which category would I chose for this particular issue? I would have done a ticket in the first place but I didn't know what category to submit it under. I'm sort of new to this whole tattletale thing haha.

Let me say that when I filed harassment tickets, they usually don't get answered for 7-15 days. At times I really do hope they get punished right away, but they're usually off free and you will never know if anything happened to them.

As far as I'm concerned, it's Ill-Mannered for smelly old Alchies and their lame pets to clog up Ant Hell.

I have to agree with both sides... While people shouldn't be KSing anyone, regardless if it's a player or a homu, Ant Hell is infested with Chemists. Why they made something that doesn't attack give so much EXP is beyond me.

It's so that noobs can level. The root of this problem isn't the eggs but the fact that Homunculii are not affected by lvl difference penalty. They can level from 1 to 99 in ant hell with ease because of this. If kRO fixed this then Alchemist would be forced to move for better exp and not stay in ant hell. Yes it will be much tougher to level Homunculii but it still is a semi free mercenary and gives +5% exp tap.

To do this they would make it so everyone whines about how OP homunculus is in WoE ETC... just try to take even a 99 homunculus to anywhere close to it's level range. You won't level there, period. They would either have to massively rework the stat progression and stat gain to scale with what a normal player could do or reduce the EXP needed / level on the homuncs by probably 60-75% or more. Thats the real reason you see homunulus in ant hell, go anywhere else with better EXP and they take so damn long to kill anything that people would be complaining about holding up spawn.... if you happen to have one that can even flee anything above level ~60+. If I wanted to tank for hour for someone else to kill a bunch of crap I would go find a random No0b in pront to help out....

Oh and since they pretty much share the merc codebase now, mercs would most likely be affected by the level penalty as well.... I doubt that would go over the greatest, it would probably be the final nail in the merc systems coffin.

Their evolutions are quite OP. <.< just don't get the Cat. Yes atm homunculii suck but once their evolutions come out a change is desperately needed. I don't want to see a Homunculii S mobbing Ant Hell with 1000~1750% AoE skills. Getting a pet that can permanently give you 189 ASPD and 500 flee regardless of agi and equips, or one that can reduce all incoming attacks by at least 877 should not be easy when these buffs are so powerful.

Merc's don't level up it doesn't matter if they are affected by level penalty or not...

The thing about Homunc S though is that those are far, far down the road. RO has apparently been very lax when it comes to the much-needed revamp of the homunculus system, so I think nerfing homuncs because they have some insane abilities years and years down the road isn't really justifiable.

If anything, to justifiy giving the homuncs the same exp penalty players get, the homunculus either 1) needs to be a more reliable leveling partner, 2) the homunc's stats need to be directly placeable by the owner or 3) the player needs to somehow be able to share his/her exp with the homunculus (rather than only the player receiving exp from homunc kills). Or some combination of the three. Leveling on a monster 1/3-1/2 its level shouldn't be the most efficient way to level a homunculus.

That said, the actual root of the AFKemist problem is the inability of the current homunculus to be able to keep up with the players and monsters as it levels. Well, due in part to the fact that the homunc system never seems to see updates...

You know homucs can quite easily level faster at one of the fixed hydra spawns just as easily as ant hell, without interfering with random Newb's who dont have anywhere else to go.

Sunken ship, amatsu, payon cave theres probably other places as well. payon cave has a massive spawn amount. Homucs arent affected by flee penalty either so the mass of ranged attacks doesnt bother them.
