I still don't get why we cant just right click it and have an option to delete the quest from our quest list if we don't want it. That would be all too simple.

In a perfect world maybe, but this is the real world were common sense and logic only exist in fairy tales.

I'm all for a way to delete quests on my window

Some of them are completed quests that does not erase.

I think the problem with a right-click -> delete option is that that could break the quest for the future.

We really need a fix for all these quests that don't go away :-(

I put in a request for something to deal with the orphan quests in the quest log, see if I can push for it, I know I need it too myself. D:

I know if its a immediate problem you can submit a ticket and request them to delete the quests you list in your ticket.

I'd prefer to remove a quest entirely from my quest log, and pick it back up later if I decide at another time that I want to do it then.

i'm sad~ the old man in eden totally deleted half my quests that i had saved up over the past year~ I had one of every REQ from pre-renewal and about 18973402 different versions of dragon's turn in, ID, TI, 2 versions of rachel sanc turn ins and a bunch of other event quests from the pastD: sighhh~~~ all gone.___.

I think the problem is that many of RO's quests are quite complex, and often have multiple rewards as you progress through them. There simply isn't a way to cleanly drop something like The Sign or Kiel Hyre.

For the simple, wow-style, "hey, go kill 30 of these guys" ones, though, I see no reason why we can't just dump them. They're one step quests. If you dump them, you lose your kill count. If you complete them fully, you get your reward. If there's a cooldown timer and you dump them... oh well, you'll have to wait for the cool. I really don't see where anything could break here.

attitude to new world, onward to the other world and The moving island are all completed quests that don't delete.

All the hunting quests bottom right are old turn ins.
Christmast event is there too. I have a whole bunch of other event quests on my alt, but this is just the quest window of -one character-

Eulsan's Fiancee is a broken quest I have no idea what quest line it's from but the quest window just errors out so it MAY have been an event quest, or a removed one.

The bolded ones are incomplete quests I was working on and there cool down timers Document quests are incredibly quest-window spammy but get removed when you check the spot you're told to, since the quest is just "go to point A and click text. quest done"

Actually speaking of cool down timers, if I add this up right; 15 quests on that list are just cooldown timers saying when I can next take the quest

Yes having a note saying when the quest is doable again is nice but... really does spam your quest log.

But yes, being able to remove them from the quest window would be nice but there's a half-way solution with "inactive quests" where right clicking removes them from the main tab, to keep you're active quests down.

you all do know that if you right click on the quest, they go to the inactive window right?

Just submit a ticket to the support system telling them which quests you'd like deleted, they can do it manually for you.
