Maybe because this topic started so late at night(to me anyways). I thought about it this morning to why we were allowed 4 votes.

Well, it is not clear enough about what it means. That could mean that we are only allowed to vote to one person, but could also mean that we are only allowed to vote ONCE for 4 persons since we are looking for 4 senators. So....

Fuerr- (Dont remember how to spell it) Because hes a developer himself! And will probably be willing to help the devs designing/developing certain things (with the ideas of phish, pickup)

Imo these Forum members are mature, behaved, well spoken and composed. I think to talk with the Devs, on my and others behalfs, these qualities should be paramount.
I have over the years, seen all four of them speak very passionately about a whole variety of subjects.
I did have one other choice and that would have been Lybis, who i like alot! Dude we have got to get that dam Hook Doll implementedz

I still think it would be important to those that are in the running to get a better understanding of what will be expected and how much of their time it will take. Once that is understood I would love to see if those that are in the running would announce that they are willing to be a senator. All the votes in the world would not matter if the person "elected" doesn't have the time or commitment to do a good job. Maybe the Devs are already talking to the front runners and have told them everything, but we don't know that and some of those in the front of the polls have not commented as to whether they will take the job or not.

There are definitely more than 4 good people nominated so far, but those that don't get chosen will still be good candidates in 6 months.

I would also still love to hear about how this will work and what the community can expect from the senators and Devs. Will we get a greater voice? Will we get more updates as to what the Devs are working on? Will we get comments to our suggestions that they are good and being looked at, or bad - there is no way it will work, etc.?

I know polls on the forums don't usually go well and the results can't be trusted, but keeping a running count on this thread is tough. Is this thread all that will be used for choosing the senators? Or will the Devs also use their best judgement?

With Zurn now being a CM will he have time to do both? Should he do both? Maybe Sven from Draconis would be a better choice (I don't know him but others seem to like him). I still think the Senate needs a rep from each server since each server has it's own issues.

There is a new forum only available to those members, so you won't see much on the outside, but hopefully you'll start to notice a change in some of the patch notes/direction, lead by the ROSE Community Senate over the next few months.
