One important question: We can represent the community and voice our opinion to the Dev team, but do we get any actual results and action? Because speaking of feedback and opinion, we've already have enough. Sorry, but I've to say this, many of us just get tired of broken promises and I'm sure everyone likes a shattered hope in game but when it comes to game content/updates, they don't like a shattered hope. IcePhish is no exception, he is definitely the community's favourite and will fit this Community Senate vacancy well. A person with unbiased opinions when it comes to game content feedback is what this topic wants, and he well deserves it. We've always want a community senate to represent us but not some sort of worthless fire extinguisher ( ), now it's your chance IceBish, serve as the Community Senate and receive monthly item mall points for free and keep hoping your Proposal and Suggestion came true!

1. Phish is an obvious choice. His posts are fair, he knows and understands all of the classes, he understands Rose and would be a good voice for PVP characters as well.
2. LadyPsyber knows the game from a different outlook then Phish so that is good (vending and farming mostly).
3. Pickup always seems to have the essence of Rose, seems fair and is not all about PVP.

For another choice I think we need someone from Draconis that understands the game, is not just all about PVP and can give a voice for those playing on Draconis. Sometimes the issues on one server are different from the other server. I am not sure who that would be since I don't play on Draconis often, so someone else needs to post a good choice from that server. Is Zurn from there?

I also think that instead of all veteran players, a newer player might be a good representative as to how the game is for new characters. Maybe someone who has been around for 6 months to a year and has leveled up through the newer things. But again, I am not sure who that might be. Sometimes the veterans want things the way they used to be and sometimes that makes their opinions bias. A newer player might help the Devs with suggestions on the issues for newer players more than a vetern would.

Lastly, as much as I respect Naughty, KingArthur and other CMs I think their hands are full being CMs. Any of them would be a great choice but being CM gives them a voice to the Devs as it is I think.

I won't cast any votes as I am n00b in this community, but I like the whole "chosen representatives" idea
with "access" to developers, I am sure lots of good changes can come out of it

only possible "problem" will be if someone is nominated because of personal reasons (friends)/popularity but after first mandate is over I am sure those will carefuly choose their representatives

I think most people will cast away their idea's of popularity or friendship and go for whats best for this game. Beside that, people like PickUp, LadyPsyber and Phish are both popular and have really good idea's regarding choises that should be made I added LadyPsyber and PickUp to my original post.
