Spawn Rate Issue

Im gonna be straightforward with this.

- Ape Quest
- Took me 4hrs to complete
- Completed on Half of the Wootan quest (Fighters) and the other (The Archers)
- The Archers need a better spawn rate or even better both.
- How's this hat supposed to work correctly if the spawn rate is low?

- Mine Quest
- Enemies Hide
- People leave parties that I join because the "spawn is low"
- Took me a total of 2hrs and 50 mins to complete in a party (This includes people leaving the party due to the overall low spawn)
- Lag
- Other Parties Kill Stealing alot. I've never seen so much Kill Stealing in a Turn in quest.

- Overall
- It feels like a job to do rather than having fun partying with people.
- Its unfair that Amatsu had a better spawn and the Niff Quest was much better. Now its 90-110's turn it's horrid.
- Why Biolabs and not the other quests?

This is my first complaint ever on this game and I don't want it to seem I want to fed levels. I just want to have fun partying something I rarely do.

Einbech Mine is a terrible quest. It would have been nicer with better spawns and if the Minerals were changed to Agressive for the event.

The problem with the spawn rate should not be an issue because I read somewhere that for each of these events the spawn rate becomes 100 or x3? What the hell happened to that? For last week's Nif turn in there were ALOT of Dul and Lolis. Fix please?

It was noticeable in Niffleheim due to the size of the map, the Einbech Mines are larger, and so it's not as good, even with 110 spawns.

In a Gwing party (read as KS party...sorry we had a lock) it still took over an hour to do the quest which is really funny seeing as we can do the bio2 quest in under an hour!

Warlocks are my biggest pet peeve in this game. They're designed to KS, and they know it so they don't even apologise or try to hide it.

I dunno about other levels, but the biolab gives decent amount of exp for even to me 143 now (67% with BMx3). Although, Scaraba boost me up faster due to mobing using firetrapz & the exp i got is higher.

Scaraba I believe was also done during an exp event.

Edit - On that note too, GM's I hope you're reading this. The exp for these TI's needs to be higher; so that if we use a BMx3 at max level we can achieve either a base or a job at the max allowed level for that particular quest with one TI (if max level is 145 then the quest TI should give 22,040,000 stacked before using a x3. A x3 would then give exactly enough to hit the following level.)

That would mean that if someone starts at 130, in 7 TI's, they would have gotten 462,840,000 exp.

To go from 130-146 you would need 741,139,000.

Thats a 278,299,000 difference. 278 Million exp to grind out inbetween. Some of which will be gotten during the quest kills, the other portion which will have to be grinded out in spare time.

This is completely reasonable.

I will say again, my guildies and friends won't be wasting our money on manuals or other kafra items for this event when the experience from the TI is so low. (4-8m for over level 100 TI's? Come on guys. Thats 12-24m with a manual when I said above how much it takes for a level. Not worth the investment.)

Might as well comment on the original post too. I tried the einbroch quest, and the minerals hiding is irritating. Changing them to aggressive or disabling their hide during this event would really be helpful. This one is almost as irritating as the incu/succu quest.

people only want them aggressive for mobbing purposes im sure! Try taking an aco or mage class char or a horong accessory or a GX or any class that has a skill that unhides. There's so many of them now!

Why do people complain it's not like you're forced to do any events just go back to normal leveling if you don't like it.
Apes was fine when I did it took less than 2 hours to solo and ein is easy with a big party that has mage/aco types, Also if someone was KS'd it was always accident.

um no. with a 3x manual the bio2 turn-in is pretty much 149 - 150 covered. if you started at 149, you'd be 150 w/ kill exp counted

I won't argue that. The bio 2 exp is fine because you have 6 different monsters offering 8-9m each? That is a boat load of exp. It's the TI's that only have 2 monsters that need an exp boost.

The shooters I agree had a low spawn rate. I was finished with the Fighters long before the shooters.

And I guess that is because the fighters are melee aggressors. That helped I say.

Whenever I or someone else uses Ruwach or Sight it only uncovers 1 and very rarely 2. So many? not really.

You misread me, I meant there are many classes with skills that unhide, not many of the monsters

I'd hate to see their AI changed, simply because that's my favourite spot to level 90+ chars.

Yeah, the apes quest is annoying and a big epic fail. With low spawns and low exp, the apes quest really not worth doing at all!!! I did the quest once, and i do not plan on doing that stupid ape quest again!!! -_-

I have to say, I have been enjoying all the Turn-in Quests.

I had a delayed start (i started using them during the second week) at lvl 112, and I am now lvl 146. Some of them have been more difficult, i.e. incubus stealing sp, gold acidus stunning, stupid frus and their firewall.

The spawn for Ein definatly feels lower, but as long as I am not soloing, we get it done in around an hour. I think that is time well spent...more exp than soloing.

As for KSing warlocks, can't lie, I see it constantly, but NOT ALL of them blatantly KS. When I am on my warlock will literally move off screen from other people before I cast. Only problem occurs when someone drags a mob on screen after I am already casting =/

I have not tried the ape quest because a) I hear everyone complaining about it and B ) my chars are all past 100, so I don't really think it is worth it.
