LOL, all Ragnarok Online first jobs and half second/trans ideas come from Final Fantasy Tactics, and Valkyrie Randgris and other NPC's come from Valkyrie Profile, both games from Squaresoft Inc. Peco Peco Idea also come from Final Fantasy games.

I think it's a little 12 years too late for talking about copyright infringement.

The jobs are nothing special or original and the sprites on both games are the generic thing you'd picture when you think of said class.

Valkyrie Profile and 90-95% of RO are both based off of Norse Mythology. Not original ideas. Hardly a reason to call copyright infringement on those grounds.

This. The only job classes that look even slightly looks it from that artwork compaired to -RO SPRITES- those would be archers (which are just wearing actual archer wear anyway in both games, crap people have worn in real life for decades, except in FFT they wear oversized gloves and boots making bows unwieldy) nothing else even looks remotely similier

not to mention the sprites look absolutely nothing like the sprites in that game, nor does the artwork look absolutely anything like the artwork in that game. Theres no similaritys at all, only an obsessed fan would see it.


and valkyrie profiles rendition is not exactly unique. Both just don't mess with what is more traditionally accurate.

Peco Peco Idea also come from Final Fantasy games.

The PecoPeco is actually built more like the Horseclaws from Nausicaa, which existed years before Final Fantasy did. Large toucan-ish beak, 3 front claws, tiny wings, shorter and thicker neck, and a very similar harness.
