I'm gonna upload all RO BGMs in 192 kbps quality and package of 40+ renewal skins. These are original, raw BGMs converted from 320kbps to 192kbps since it's the maximum RO client supports. Feel free to share it.

Legit? What do you mean?
You won't be banned for using these.
All of the skins in the package are working renewal skins found all over the internet.


If there are other renewal updated skins that aren't in the package, give the links to the missing ones.
I will update the package then. The more, the merrier!

It would be nice to get this topic sticked. I am sure that newcomers do not know where to look for additional renewal skins, or don't even know that they are customizable. Here, they can get all of them at once, with a single download. <3

WOW! VERYNICE!

Some skins aren't 100% updated for renewal though, for instance most panda skins and Nekosiwa are missing the new option buttons and the skill window.

But at least half of them are. AFAIK it's the biggest compilation of renewal skins. Thanks a lot!

As mentioned above, not all of them have all of the textures, so I did my best to sort them by Renewal and Pre-Renewal. If you have Author information for them, please let me know so I can add it.

Sound quality is much much better. It was originally 320kbps, then it was converted down to 192kbps because RO client doesn't support 320kbps.

All of them are renewal updated. Some of them are missing either skill tree window or options button. Anyway, they are 90%+ completed. I don't have authors information.

I just tested them while I took screenshots for the wiki page, and I can assure you that not all of these are for Renewal. They displayed far better when I used them on iRO Sakray (which is currently set to Pre-Renewal mode) than on Yggdrasil.

What I meant is that most of them can be used with renewal-system while not having all of the textures updated to renewal-system. Some of them have both pre-renewal and renewal textures. There is one skin in particular that is more pre-renewal than renewal. The rest of them is more or less renewal updated, and yes those that aren't fully updated might look better in pre-renewal setting.

jRO's renewal interface is different than ours, and I'm gonna assume all of these skins are made by Japanese. Anyways, jRO uses the old "main menu" while we uses the renewal one and they don't seem to have their equip and stats window merged into one. (Unless they updated that recently. >.>a )


I'll work on making a list of identifying all the skins and their authors. Let's hope none of these skins are one of those that someone picked up to edit for renewal with permission from the original author that did the skin, that may make things tricky.

does the ro client support sampling rate higher than 22khz (setup does not go higher than that)? so even at a high bit/sampling rate, client might downsample the audio.

The skins are fine.. But I'm going to assume the bgm comes from the Memories of Ragnarok OST or similar source and I don't think this is the place to be freely distributing it.
