I'm a Paladin with out sword dance, and after the patch I thought of a combo, but would it be considered a lock?

Cross Cut [to catch] - TAA - Spear Jab - Spin it bear - Storm Blade, Then run.

Its using 5 different attacks with out repeating in one combo, but the other person cannot escape while in it. Is it considered locking?

using any skill more than once in a combo, is considered a lock.

for paladins, lock is more specifically targeted to skills that induce non-techable knockdowns (swords dance, cross cut, spear jab, tear armor asunder). the repetitive use of these is considered an auto-win as u can't escape unless u have block/evade.

yep. they have a chance to air-tech/escape after the storm blade.

if they don't tech from the storm blade then u can catch them with crosscut and continue the combo, they have a chance to escape so it's not really a lock. u can also try and catch them on the fall after they tech and continue the combo.

If the person is fast enough they can tech after the Spin It bear. But with lag, and the way that these skills work the person will still get swept up even if they have teched.

I hope that issue doesn't come over with the new patch.

By the way, is there any news that STR will add more attack after the patch? In -_- most warriors were stacking Health and Str instead of Health and Agility [for aim]

u can cast storm blade before the spin it bear 5 hits finish, so how does this work?

That's because that server sucks and everyone there stacked more Str than anything else. Any decent PvPer should be able to win 1 v 3 there.

Hoping still that they fix the formulas on some percentage based skills.

Right damage, as in they don't do any damage. (Worth mentioning)

I think it has something to do with working off the base number. Which nets smaller returns. Sorry for being ambiguous, I do not know the specifics.
