Well obviously the average Sura player like myself isn't that overpowered then. I'll admit to not being the greatest Sura player ever. Of course I still have some things to learn, but if somebody can get the gears and the skills/experience to do so well, then power to them for mastering the class.

But I know that almost all skills are counter-able and G.fist is one of them. I mean, you just listed counters to g.fist counters. My point is that G.fist can be stopped and it really isn't as powerful as it seems. Not everyone has a +9 KVM fist either. Besides, that got nerfed already.

up to debate whether it got nerfed. not many players before were able to switch midcast to a higher attack weapon such as a glor mace because they simply werent good enough or perhaps they lagged too much. now, everyone should be able to do that. its a semi buff imo along with the constant secrement buff it gives now too.

So all the ways to "beat" a class you'll just write off as "broken" such as masquerades and howling. k


I bet you like deep sleep lullaby/stasis/cursed circle and self-destruct too.

They should also nerf Shadow Chaser manly hole + landmine, Assassin poison+cloak+Agi Up?, RK Pertz/Crush strike, and all of the skill that can one shot you. Right? :blaugh:

Its not that I don't want skills that can one shot me its just that CC+Fist is just too perfect for a combo and it is unstoppable

since kvm was changed gfist dont need more changes.... but theres a third choice

C) GIVE US BACK OLD SAFETY WALL FORMULA


This is a much better patch Idea return the fist to its formula and leave consumables how they are.

This would make the Arch Bishop very very Useful.

The problem here is not the Sura, but instead it's the gears that the Sura is wearing. My sura can't even kill a Shadow Chaser with gfist at 1.5K SP. The Suras that you guys encountered probably has Meg pieces or over-upgraded gears. Making Suras weak means that people will just simple transfer their high-end gears over to their other character.

I don't really think Gfist needs to be balanced. Its the Sura's purpose to one hit kill single targets. Until they are high level they have no other skill but Gfist to kill with. Im 128/38 on my Sura and have no other offensive skill.

Some of there other skills make them unbalanced. The buffs are crazy. Snap is just silly. Maybe they should lower the odds on CC so it doesn't work as well as it does now. Maybe take away the weapon swap option when they gfist with the +9 kvm fist. They don't like RG's weapon swapping on EB.

Sura's are beast at PVM/MVP. Maybe tone that down a bit. They are nerfing fire trap for Chasers and Rangers. I think Sura's will be the best PVM class for sure after they nerf fire trap.

Or quit nerfing everything and maybe buff the other classes. :P

How to stop a G.fist
1.) G.fist can be interrupted, so just poke them with a quick attack or provoke. Most of the time, people are casting AoE so it's hard to G.fist people during WoE.

2.) Dispel ==> no more fury ===> no G.fist

3.) Mandragora Howling ==> ridiculously slow cast time ==> easily interrupted G.fist

4.) Spell Breaker while the Sura is casting G.fist

5.) Spiritual Sphere Absorption ==> no spheres ==> no G.fist

6.) Leech End ==> G.fist is constantly interrupted and Zen will also be interrupted ==> cannot gain spheres nor get a g.fist off

7.) Blood sucker ==> G.fist is constantly interrupted and Zen will also be interrupted ==> cannot gain spheres nor get a g.fist off

8.) Inflict freezing status ==> slow cast time ==> easy to interrupt G.fist/Zen

9.) IF you're an RK, cast Deathbound.

10.) If you're an RG, just put reflect damage and whatever other OP skills you guys have.

11.) Divest the Sura ==> no weapon ==> no G.fist

12.) Break the sura's weapon ==> no weapon ==> no G.fist

13.) White imprison, manhole, masquerade weakness, blah blah blah


I'm sure there's more. I just thought of those all right now, so please stop the QQ'ing. I personally play a Sura and when I WoE against people that actually know how to WoE, it's hard for me to get a G.fist off, even with CC+G.fist. If you're QQ'ing about CC+G.fist combo, it's probably b/c you PVP all day and we all know that PVP is trash.

Yes, playing a Sura is expensive. 180k per G.fist. What other class requires 180k for 1 chance at a kill?

Suras and MVPs. Again, it's expensive to G.fist. Also, Suras can't do jack against Ghost. There are other classes that are great at solo'ing MVPs too, so why are you targeting the Suras? Are you on a crusade to stop everyone from solo'ing MVPs?


You can do any of those( except storm blast) while you are on CC? O.o
Gfist is fine, was supussed to be the 1 vs 1 DPS in game, if we got safety wall, there wouldnt be so much trouble with it, but suras still got meelee/long range GoH!
