I literally only have Desperado 10, Full Blast 10, the minimum pre-reqs, and Snake Eyes 5. Like 15 unused SP.

I'm Desperado build, ~80 dex, 48 int, 40 vit. Getting vit right now.

It appears that no other skill is worth getting atm because nothing is stronger than Full Blast 10 in 1v1 and nothing is better than Desperado 10 when mobbing. What skills would be best to get for pvm? Assuming I already have everything I need, what about bossing since woe and pvp are out of the question.

Does Triple Action or Bull's Eye consume bullets/sp or only coins? And do they have cast times or are they instant? Irowiki has nothing on it...

It appears that Gunslinger Mine sucks because its only +500 atk and small aoe. Can I at least place them on top of each other or next to each other? Chances are, I still won't get the skill since it has like a 1.5 second cast and it only lasts 30 seconds so I would only be able to put down like 15 before luring a monster over it. Probably not even strong enough to kill bosses with.

Do coins acquired from Coin Flip disappear? If so, how and when?

Do you gain atk from having coins around you as if they were spirit spheres?

Triple action consumes a bullet and a coin, if I remember right... it also works with grenade launchers, as does spread shot now, so that's where I put my extra skill points. I also maxed Crowd Control Shot because I find it useful, so right now I don't have Flip Coin or triple Action. I never did like having to count on getting coins, especially as I'm usually carrying a shotgun which is a bit slow for Flip Coin unless I keep switching back and forth.

I believe the Coins provide atk like spheres, but I don't know how well that works with skills, which is what you should be using.

I'm guessing you don't know whether or not Triple Action has a cast time or sp cost. As of now, it doesn't seem to outshine Full Blast, which does 400% at it's weakest. It's not hard to swap weapons for Flip Coin. The Eden Revolver you get for free yields faster aspd than being unarmed for flipping coins. +5 aspd mod instead of -5 on using a Guard or 0 for being unarmed. 3 atk from each coin would be like up to +30 atk, which is like a +10 Lv2 weapon/+6 Lv3 weapon/+4 Lv4 weapon. Could mean the difference between a ohko and a nohko.

Does spread shot care about the ammunition equipped while wielding a launcher? Like, bullets instead of spheres. Even then, I don't think 280% of 280+ atk from a launcher is going to beat 550%*(1 - 10 [usu. 3]) of 60 atk from Eden Revolver II.

I was under the impression triple action has no cast time, just a single level, a sp cost and requires one coin. I heard it used to be different, but I don't remember now being able to equip bullets with my grenade launcher at all and visa versa, meaning I couldn't weapon switch without removing my ammo all together. The big use of spread shot to me is being able to use elemental spheres with a weapon of high atk, and being able to attack at range. If someone else is tanking a mob of monsters, you can attack safely, as well as have a good idea of how much damage will be done after a bit of practice.

Desperado is awesome, but not only do you have to attack in melee with a class not particularly suited to melee survival even with high Vit, but when you only get that 1 or 2 strikes on a target, the low attack of pistols ensures it's not particularly impressive. Both skills require SP; desperado certainly has the most damage potential, and if you're doing the mobbing it's easy to use, especially if you're getting healed and SP. Spread shot is what I use when I'm tagging along with other people doing the mobbing; I put the status card for Frozen in my inferno and I try to have the appropriate element. Both skills require a lot of SP.

One thing I think it worth noting; I find when using desperado, sometimes when monsters get position lagged (which can always happen) are much harder to fight back against due to the small effective AoE, and monsters that have slightly better than average 'melee' attack range love to attack from just outside that area as well. It goes without saying it's also hard to use well against outright ranged attackers without help or endure items/gear.

Yeah, you should always have your ammo hotkeyed so you know if you're about to run out. I've never had to reequip my ammo when I swapped between my pistol and shotgun. I usually ohko my mobs with Desperado. I've never leveled a Gunslinger or any of my characters on ranged attackers so I don't think that will become an issue. Do you have both Desp+Spread Shot maxed? If so, does Spread Shot with your launcher outdamage Desperado hitting twice?
