I believe there are plenty of guides out there? Anyway Your build also depends on your budget. Would be a good thing to give an estimate of your budget before I start recommending unattainable eq that costs hundreds of millions like ROFL.

argh..... that means you are on a very tight budget....

Fret not. At least Renewal RO is much more friendly to beginners compared to pre-renewal, where they just throw you at prontera with no food or zeny, and just give u a cotton shirt and knife.

Now with the Novice training grounds and Eden. Things are much easier for you.

Refer to details on Eden HERE:

For your life as a knight, don't bother wasting any zeny on 2H swords. The good 2H swords are only usable by transcended classes. Keep doing the Level 11 ~ 25 eden quest. Once you are level 26, do the equipment quest for your eden slayer, and again at level 40 to get your level 2 eden slayer. Its almost the best sword you can get for a non trans class, its 0 weight, and its free XD. The Eden hat lets you enchant your hat for +2 to your prefered stat. Remember to use that.

Stats wise, well since you are going to transcend anyway, so I guess I can be abit random on that. you should have started off with 9 str, 9 dex, 9 agi. then add your stats in somewhat this order:

Dex to 30 <----- Start of with adding dex, as you will realise in the novice training grounds you are missing quite alot
Str to 30
Agi to 50
Dex to 40
Str to 40
Agi to 70
Luk to 21 <----- Small amounts of Luk gives abit of everything. Bonus arrives in multiples of 3.
Dex to 50
Agi to 80
Str to 50
Agi to 90++ <----- Stop the moment you hit the next level of ASPD.
Dex to 60/70? <----- Depends what you are hitting. Add only if u still can miss them.
Str all the way

Skills: Well since you are going to transcend, skills can also be random. Important skills you require that helps in leveling. Level them in that according order:

Swordsman:

2H sword mastery 10 <--- self explainatory
Increase HP recovery 10 <--- Another DUH.
Bash 10
Provoke lvl 1 <--- To use for mobbing with bowling bash.

Knight:

2H quicken
Bowling Bash <--- Your bread and butter leveling skill.
Peco Peco Riding and Mastery.

I kinda didn't account for the prequisites. Abit lazy. Please add the preq skills accordingly to get the skills listed above. As a knight it is ok to change job at lvl 40. You will get reseted anyway.

Moving on to a lord knight, I guess the first item you need to buy is a Tae Goo Lyeon [2]. Its the best 2H sword in terms of value for money. I would recommend slotting 2 mummy cards in it so you save adding 40 Dex later as you move on towards a RK. However the TGL requires level 90 so you are kinda stuck with your eden slayer till then. The next equipment you can consider getting is the Dragon vest and manteau set, slotted with porcellio card and Dragon fly + Chonchon Boots. This gives u a cheap 7 Agi and 35 Flee. The stat build for a LK is some what similar to the knight, the only difference is you stop at 70 Str at the last part and start to add Int and maybe abit more Luk. The reason behind this is that as a RK, you have access to a skill called Enchant Blade, which converts your MATK to add on to your ATK, making adding Int at lower levels better than adding Str at higher levels.

Skill wise, make sure you add all the necessary preqs for all the RK skills, and this time job change at lvl 50 only. No more reseting for u. The rest are the same with an additional Aura Blade and Parrying made available only to LKs.

As for Rune knight..... Refer to the many other RK build guides out there. I am abit lazy to type already :blaugh:

The guide above is a good starting point however I would like to add that early on magnum break is probably better than bash since it'll be your only aoe until you get bowling bash and even when you do get bowling bash, magnum break chains nicely with it jus like ignition break does.

For swords the Eden slayer Is a great weapon if your short on funds but if you can get a double slotted claymore or a zweihander, they're actually better weapons that will work a bit better until you get high enough to use a tae goo lyeon. Unlike the Eden slayer, these can be upgraded fairly easy to safe levels at +5 for an extra 25atk. Carding them with mummy cards is ok and will save you a lot of dex so you can use the stat points elsewhere but you really won't need it as an Lord knight when you get spear dynamo. Using % race/element cards or +atk cards like two Andre cards might actually work out better. (a +5 claymore or zweihander with two Andre cards would give you a total or 245atk and 265atk respectively, quite a fair bit stronger than the Eden slayer).

Ps. You might also want to get endure as a knight so you can still use bowling bash while tanking things. Not really as important as a LK since spear dynamo gives you the same effect and is way more spam able.

magnum break is probably better than bash.

Er ya that I agree. I only added bash because it is needed to learn bowling bash. If not I would have ignored bash and went Magnum lvl 10

I think early on Bash isn't very good since a swordsman won't really have the SP to spam that at least not until lvl 30-40 I think. Magnum Break I used way more when I transcended as a High Swordie though
