Dragon Saga Mount Creation Contest

New Origins Update will introduce new Mountable pets which will allow player to travel distances faster! These new mounts will make great additions to any character. Some of you are probably thinking, "well I like the idea of a mount but I don't like any of the coming ones." Well we are giving you a chance to design your OWN! Take a chance and submit your mount artwork for a chance to be a part of Dragon Saga history!

The contest deadline for submissions will be September 13th 2011 11:59PM PST.

Contest Guideline*:

• A forum section will be created for the contest for you to submit your work:
• Please create a new thread with the subject line being Ingame name-mount name. (IE. Hastur - UglyGoldfish)

• In the thread please include the following:
• Mounts Name
• Description of how you would verbally describe the mount.
• Mounts must be ORIGINAL design, but inspiration can come from anywhere. (Please do not submit Copyrighted work, Dragon Saga related material is fine for inspiration but drawing must be original)
• Drawing of Mounts must be from at least three angles. (front/back and side view)
• You can submit as many entries as you would like, however only one entry can win.
• The larger the image is the easier it is to see the detail, hand drawn is fine, but must be scanned into a computer pic format (jpg, png etc). We do have photoshop so PSD can be accepted. If you are a 3d minded person and prefer to work in that mode, please just take a system screenshot of the model in the program and use the photo as the basis for judging.

Once all the submissions have been received they will be posted on the Official Forums for the community to vote on. The top 5 designs will be voted on a second time by the GM Team to choose the top 3

The top 3 Designs will be submitted to our development for consideration of creation/implementation, along with the following:

• 1st Place:
  • 1x Night Bat Egg(New Origins)
  • 1x Purified Spirit of Paris Egg(7 Days)
  • Choice of:
  • 1x Chubby Ghost Pet Egg(7 Days)
  • 1x Dotted Snail Pet Egg(7 Days)
• 3x 30 Day Pet Food
• 3x Pet Name Changer Scroll
• 10x Pet Option Randomizer
• 10x Soul Box

• 2nd Place:
  • 1x Bone Dragon Egg(7 Days)
  • 1x Purified Spirit of Paris Egg(7 Days)
  • Choice of:
  • 1x Chubby Ghost Pet Egg(7 Days)
  • 1x Dotted Snail Pet Egg(7 Days)
• 3x 30 Day Pet Food
• 3x Pet Name Changer Scroll
• 6x Pet Option Randomizer
• 7x Soul Box

• 3rd Place:
  • 1x Egg of Miniature Aram(7 Days)
  • Choice of:
  • 1x Chubby Ghost Pet Egg(7 Days)
  • 1x Dotted Snail Pet Egg(7 Days)
• 2x 30 Day Pet Food
• 2x Pet Name Changer Scroll
• 5x Soul Box

*Winning the contest does not guarantee mounts will be created or implemented. One or all mounts may or may not be developed; the final decision is up to the development team.

Hmm got a question about this, i like to draw stuff like this, but does picture have to b colored? (im the worst color-er in the world )

Will the mount require pet food to remain active or is it once received it stays with us forever and no pet food is needed?

How about a bat? I honestly can't draw very well though.

Actually, now that I've honestly thought about it. What about a White Tiger? I know I've seen a white tiger pet in one of the versions I've played (either IAH or gPotato) and it would be really cool to have a tiger that grows bigger until you can ride on it's back. Maybe with some type of claw slash attack I suppose--when it reaches lev 20 and maybe a jump/bite attack when it's ride-able at lev 40...

I know, not exactly original, but I did think it was cool when I got one through an im purchase. And, again, I can't draw well--so that's why the pasted pics...
