If anything, you should be mad that the option is even available.

Anyway since I am not gaining anything out of it why should I continue to pay hundred of dollars if I'm not going to get anything out of it?

Maybe if people like you would stop sending them piles of cash every box event, they would stop getting so damned greedy and actually look at the issues the game now faces. After that, they might even fix some of them. You're right Shado, I did pay to gain, but failed because of who? That's right the very folks who wants me to pay to gain . Trust me they wants people like me to buy em. If I didn't then who's going to pay their bills?

Yes, you can argue Dollars = Development, but not when the iRO staff doesn't have for say over anything being developed. You are paying the to host the server, and to manage it. The game is constantly lagged, even from only one timezone away/best internet available/custom built gaming comp. The servers are infested with bots, with no attempt being made to slow or extinguish them. The updates that they do add, with maintenance being extended regularly, usually with multiple next-day resets/take downs, add such little content that they are pointless, and only serve to create more issues instead of fixing current once that greatly effect woe/pvp/pvm/everything.
They often can not replicate the issues regarding their updates themselves, and require player input and multiple screenshots to even convince them that there is a flaw occuring.
I could go on and on and on, but I have better things to do.
tldr: Why do you pay these people? They suck at their job, and don't give a about you as a player. All they want is $$$$$

The % of items coming out is calculated on the dollar amount the item is worth vs its % gain. The virgos are 500 Brownie points. We could have lowered the % for those and made it so more of the Class D items came from the box, you would have gotten more "diversity" from the box but ultimately if you trade in it would be fewer Brownie points earned.
There was never any intention of "ripping" anyone off, but we can't make the class A/B/S items be common else it would destroy the value of the Kafra shop and the game balance. Currently the class A items are ~ $15-25 class S = $40 B~ $8 C~$5 and D =$3
We set it this way so that there isn't a "losing Lucky Box" like giving you a Pink Hat [1] for your $3 lucky box (which other versions do).

I do spend about $200+ each lucky box myself..

UMM ALL LUCKY BOX EVENTS DESTROY GAME BALANCE. This game has totaly been split between people who get rich off of lucky boxes and people who dont. Since renewel has come there is almost no way of making money ingame and is totaly unfair for people who dont buy boxes and sell WPE. Money making options are only ET or get lucky and find a an mvp card and thats it

The smartest thing I've heard in the forums for the month.
If bots were permabanned (fully stripped of everything they have earned and have and IP addressed tracked in case of transfers) instead of 2-3 day ban (urghhh, we asked iRO GM20 to ban a bot but he was only gone for 2 days), there would be less motivation to bot and people would actually care to learn and play the game.
Unfortunately this isn't the case and people just keep botting and botting and passing themselves as legit. Thing is, they think you're stupid and are not aware they botted once they are 140-150 and decide to play the game without bots.
Anyways, there is really lack of customer support in regards to reporting bots. Tickets are responded in such a tedious amount of time and the process itself is as well. There is also no guarantee they'll ban the bot and you will need to screenshot as many as you can to form a "solid" proof for Warpportal support to accept..

Youre making this sound easier then what it actually is. You can't really IP ban someone to begin with(you can but you can use a proxy to get around it, which is what most of the zeny sellers do. You can ban the account, but you can just make another one and back to step one. A solution would be to develop something that detects 3rd party programs when running RO and put a "freeze" on them.

Let me extend more what I think you're talking about...something like Gameguard or HackShield (I think its called). But usually those have to be constantly updated because people find a way around them but certainly it deters a good number of people.

as i have said in a previous post, as long as players continue playing and paying there is no reason for iro to take them seriously.

the point is to stop playing/paying UNTIL iro resolves the bot problem.Just for clarification purposes, you want everyone to stop paying so the game dies and there won't be any bots because there is no game? That's just genius
but don't worry, that won't happen. only geniuses like me participate in boycotts.

Hate how this always happeneds. Always miss out on bonus headgears etc just because I spend my money on KP 1 or 2 days before the bonus events come out. I wish you guys would give us prior knowledge of these bonus events. Id like to take advantage of em instead of feeling 'butthurt'.
Ive had enough. I will be stopping my KP spending. No more WP Energy for me.
Anyways nothing I can do, suppose its my fault for spending my hard earned money here.
PS. There should be backpay of kp for the last week or so. Or some sort of 30 day price match. But then again we do not live in a perfect world.
