I doubt it was Heim's fault personally, instead of pointing the proverbial finger, post it in here: http://forums.warppo...maint-problems/

It has a far better chance to get answered if posted in there instead of all these "shot gun" topics spread out everywhere.

I tried, the merge feature isn't working, will have to get permissions adjusted for that and the CMs are a bit busy with other stuff right now.

Yeah well,n everytime i use a skill, any skill, on any char, my screen gos all white, tried everything.
Everytime they fix something, they break something for people who had no problems before.

Provide screenshots, details, system specs, OS you are using, programs running, what kind of video card, etc. The key to solving a problem is gathering as much information as possible from those who are experiencing it.

I was having this exact same problem yesterday, I restarted my pc and somehow it fixed itself. Keep in mind that ive never had this problem before. Seems to have occured over last maintenance.

I had that problem too. It seems to go away after a while if you walk around, and it constantly flashes itself at you.
Same deal with white screen. I didn't /lightmap, and it changed back to normal screen a few times and then back to whitescreen, haha.

Interesting, I"ve not had this happen yet.

What would help us diagnose this is if you will go to the ticket tool and submit a bug report with your dxdiag attached. I am thinking it is an issue with a particular setup rather than an everyone problem. This and hte lightmap white out are annoying, and we need this information to try and fix it.

I get those black boxes all the time (since pre-RE at least) on the pre-ET map, and it tends to do with the placement of the cursor. Specifically, it looks like its trying to place itself on an object too far away.

Both of those screenshots have very wide resolutions, which I suspect is related.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but today I have just experienced this bug thing, and have tried a few things to fix it. I'm running Windows 7, and after going through some of the FAQs on the site and trying running ragnarok.exe in compatibility mode for Windows XP the problem has stopped. I'm not sure how long it'll last! But hopefully it does...

Oh, and also before I found that before that worked /lightmap also solves the issue temporarily.

that might not have been the fix, after I restarted both my ro clients (it was only happening on one) it went away.

It still happens rarely, when single or dual.

I dont know I just restart them now to fix it. Still kinda a pain.

Hmm,I'm not sure then. Cause I restarted mine a million times, restarted the computer aswell... I only did it because there was a self help topic saying if you receive a graphical error to do that... You should try it out next time it happens and let us know though!
