Well i just wanted to know if everyone is lagging like hell, in this server i am from spain and i lag like the servers are in other planet, and it happened the same to my friends from USA. i have 15mb mbps enough to play Ragnarok XD what about you? do you lag like us? this is the most lagging server ive played in 6 years of playing RO

Windows Key + R -> type cmd to open a command prompt. Then type, tracert iro.ragnarokonline.com

from what Ive seen, its always ntt that doubles the values at some point.

Try Lowerping.com (you can try it without paying, you'll get disconnected after 30min though)
Important: Choose a server on the west coast, not a european one ^^

Submitting a tracert would be beyond useless. No one can or will help you with it. Honestly, just use Lowerping.

I'm from Spain. I have 200-250 ping, not bad knowing where is the server hosted. I think he needs to check irowiki forums and see how to reduce the tcpdelay or whatever is called. That helped me a lot when I started here.

NTT has always double the ping, even congetco isp did the same thing. and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if NTT routers are still having random massive packet lost either

...and with Lowerping you'll have around 180 ping
I also knew some german players who play lagfree without lowerping, but I guess that comes down to your own connection.

If the lag is coming from NTT, you should send the tracert to the GM team so they can forward it to NTT and complain.

I am badly too about 3-5sec lag spikes too ill post a tracert i did there are 2 of them about 20 min apart i tried lvlng a new char and the lag was just too bad i cant even try lvling my warlock atm with it like this

The problem is your ISP. Note how the packet loss is starting on the 5th hop, and continues throughout the rest of the trace (because it all has to go through that 5th hop server that's losing lots of packets).

That's one of the worst tracerts i've seen in a while. Tell your ISP where to go, and get a new one, that's just terrible.
