The in-game descriptions for these RWC headgears have been updated.

once it's +5, it considers EVERY refine level, including the ones from 0-+4, so yah it's +12%

Yes, I understand English. I just wanted to clarify if this was the true intention of these headgears, particularly the +12 Cat Ear Beret. This hat will make Giant Magestic Goat and AK Helm far inferior. +12% against Demi human and +12% resistance to demi human? With 1 slot? Wow. To kill 2 WoE headgears in just 1 week is just cruel. AK Helm barely held the spot light for 1 week.

have you tested this with a +12 gear? or even a +5 gear.

Theres examples of other items ingame that have an increasing bonus of 1% starting at a particular upgrade and they do NOT count the prior upgrades.

I think its pretty safe to assume its 1% at +5, +1% for each additional upgrade because thats how its [badly] worded.

Headgears are unslotted. Haven't buyed the shild, but the description doesn't sound like it's slotted... (which is the reason why I not buyed it XD)

I am also asking for a clarification please, holding back on upgrades/purchase on some items because of the ambiguity.

+12% is only at +12 though so ak helm and gmg still has uses imo and appeals to different pockets (assuming it counts prior upgrades).

ow,...

Well AK helm was a slotted feathered beret with more DEF...

But AK hat also reduces boss monster damage so it's not obsolete. The cat hat doesn't do that. Against demi human bosses, yeah maybe, but the others, no.

Poor feathered beret though... they should edit the existing DB entry and give feathered beret a slot and like +1 to all stats or something. Then it'd be a useful alternative to the cat hat for those who can't afford to +12 something.

You still take more from magic with the cat hat when compared to an AK hat, right?

Did some tests with the cat beret, the defence part of the hat seems to be working properly, however the offensive increase seems to be broken atm.

It did not add any damage when tested with weapons and bare hands with rampage blast/melee attack.

working as intended?

Wonder if the Pom headgear is not working like that cat beret.

based on this :

"
+4 f.beret, def 94+24 normal 213 crit 298 with striking, normal 363 crit 508
+9 cat beret def 94+20 normal 223 crit 312 with striking, normal 377 crit 527
+0 t.doll def 94+20 normal 233 crit 326 with striking, normal 393 crit 550
no gear def 94+0 normal 266 crit 372 with striking, normal 441 crit 617 "

the bonus prob start at 1 if u look at thouse numbers, but remember it cat beret only reduces PHYSICAL DAMAGE, and the pom only reduces MAGICAL DAMAGE, Ak helm still rocks it since it reduces ALL DAMAGE from demi humans, plus with the way this one is calculated you don't know if it calculated as a additive to cranial ( 10%+30%= 40% reduction from demi-humans , like ak helm and feather beret) or multiplicative wich is ( 30% x 10% = 37% damage reduction from demi-human physical attacks) its decent hat but not amazing i think
