the MVP is called Bakonawa
Wondering about the MVP monster here? The gigantic Bakunawa who might be as large as Satan Morroc is a mythical creature who was believed the cause of eclipses by swallowing the moon. The creature's power is not yet confirmed, but I think with that size, you'll need to have lots of guildsmen to defeat it.

I don't think so. Godzilla is a japanese monster. Someone earlier said that it's based on a giant creature that eats the sun in Phillipino folklore.

Bakunawa is usually depicted as a traditional chinese dragon, kinda like Shen Long from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball series.

It was a story being told to filipino children to explain what happens during an Eclipse. Bakunawa is basically a water dragon capable of swallowing the moon. In the story, there used to be 7 moons created by Bathala (or the creator, the supreme being). The Bakunawa ate 6 of the moons. During eclipses, ancient filipinos would go out of their homes and make lots noise to scare the Bakunawa and prevent it from swallowing the last remaining moon.
Bakunawa is usually depicted as a traditional chinese dragon, kinda like Shen Long from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball series.
I love hearing about all of the real folklore inspirations behind these monsters.

You need to sound off gongs to beat Bakunawa/Bakonawa
This is from the official pRO Sakray page:
The adventure of GM Vasiloz and friends to Port Malaya
BAKONAWA MVP QUEST: Make noise to summon Bakunawa again from Taal Lake (Phase 2)
Note: Based on Bakonawa's folklore, the villagers make noises from clashing kitchen utensils or gongs to force Bakonawa spit out the moon.
Good luck though on the time limit, 'coz you need to sound off two gongs plus Bakonawa spams Meteor Shower (lol, isn't this Meteor Storm?) on the middle part.

Has jeep?
Also, vantai (wrongly spelt version of "bantay" which means "A guard/one who guards or protects")
Bantay is a common name for a dog.

buwaya(tagalog) = buaya(malay) sounds the same
Buwaya (Tagalog) = Buaya (Indonesian)
Don't be amazed, Philippine's native roots came from Malays and Indonese.
The language "Filipino" in the Tagalog dialect's vocabulary is composed of different words from Malaysia, Indonesia, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish,
So yeah, sums that up.
