It seems like they are going to introduce a good amount of new things in this update, more like an experiment for the future content of the game. At least they are still thinking about new things to add into a very old game. But you have to wonder though.... Could that be an actual filipina Kafra girl?! OMG! No way! Can we have Kafra classes now? Please?

That's awesome o.O
I would totally level there when i get back on RO and if it was ever implemented xD
I guess they used Google Translator to get the tagalog names for the monsters, trollololololololololololol.
no sir... Those monsters with those names are already part of the Philippine folklore.

When I saw this in Doddler's post on iROWiki:
... I quickly searched up what the contents would be and ended up with these results.
Just looking at the mini-map reminded me so much of Brasilis.
Some of the monsters found at Port Malaya include:
I lmao'd when I first saw their names. They are so localized. I wonder if the GMs would change their names when they get implemented here in iRO.
So what do you guys think of the place? When do you think it's going to be implemented here?
I am also curious of what the US Localized Map would look like.
Also, what do you think the MVP would be? Discuss!
I also saw this a while ago at their site, and damn, I smiled when I saw the names. XD (I understand them cuz I'm filipino)
They're so localized and it would be also awesome if iRO could make a similar map. ^^

Very cool stuff...lots more maps than Moscovia or Dewata from the looks of it.
I'd definitely keep the names as they are, Buwaya sounds a lot cooler than "crocodile".
what about Crocomimic

Also the city's theme song sounds like a generic cheesy MMO capital theme. >_> Though the field/dungeon themes sound more like they belong to a global project city.

Art needs moar shiny
ah the artwork! its done filipino style <3 I have a feeling one of the artists from the old Culture Crash magazine worked on this. I'm actually grinning when I saw this. I guess Gravity gave them permission to have a kafra art by a filipino artist ^^

Anyway, so far this update has been pretty clean. There are two major bugs that I've found (Bakunawa's sprite errors and Bakunawa soul piece dropping from the guard dog quest) but other than that, it's fine save for a few wonky translation errors. Buwaya also probably pulls people into his box a bit TOO frequently...
I personally would have liked some of the field monsters to be higher level (like 130-140) so that higher lv characters could grind on them, but the daily quests actually give decent exp rewards for such simple tasks. It's been a good supplement to my leveling.
the GM team is going to need to keep an eye on the field maps though. If people start botting those daily quests for lesser agimats, it could be a problem. Thankfully the bots would have to be lv120 or so in order to survive there.
