Those Spammers

Well New Origin released the trade chat which is really helpful for long distance conversation, advertising market, finding party, and achieving help. However those spammers have taken too much advantage of it so now they are spamming it up with the advertisement of their websites. Now instead of Port of Winds being their hangout, all of the trade chat is.
I simply ask for some moderator monitoring of the chat to prevent them from spamming their messages because every 30 seconds 3 of them spam the same message. I have had to turn trade chat off which means I can't really look for party or ask if anyone's selling anything.

I dont know wy dont the gm's just ban the ip adress of the gold spamers or the email they use to access the creation of a ds acount
I'm not sure what process they use to handle the bots, but I'm pretty sure they have done that. They have probably figured out ways to get around that.

change of IP address or using someone else's IP.... things could get messy with ip blocking gold sellers...

We should do a level block.
effective.
In order to post in trade chat how about making it such that you must be;
Lvl20+
and have completed the 1st job change.
This way its a lot easier to find, destroy and block the spammers since ALL of the spammers are lvl 1.

However there are legit players level 1-20 who use Trade for assistance.

That sucks so much for them. I would rather they have to play better than everyone else get spammed relentlessly.

they'd just make "Twins" or "Shaman" if you made it a level 20 requirement. Make it a level 30 requirement.
Not if you bann their main "human" characters.

and with the name they generate randomly i dont know if they have the time to do something like raise a char to 20.
Trade chat is trade chat, new ppl get at least 15 megaphones, and they can still 1:1 chat for help.
I usually help new ppl out and give responses asap so they dont waste megaphones

Moving this to the Suggestions section.
Thanks, StormHaven also made some suggestions to them that he heard from players. Like the level 20-30+ req.

We have been pushing for the past few months once we got a hold of the change to place a level limit on it. We're still hoping a change will be made.

Hopefully soon. The trade chat was a good idea for people w/o access to megaphones at all times.
Or you can just lure mobs to them if they're in libra
That did work but 45 seconds later they went back in. Despite any level requirement to enter Libra. Meaning they access it through a forbidden method, old libra warps, or couple.
