Hi everyone. I have read some threads already but most deals with SinX and GX; nothing really focuses on Sin.

I am a newbie to thief class so my question might annoy some people. Current base level is 71, job level 22.

Critical Poison Assassin Build question.
Currently, my skills are

• Katar Mastery - 10
• Sonic Blow - 1
• Enchant Poison - 5
• Venom Dust - 5
• Poison React - 0
• Venom Splasher -0
• Cloacking - 0

Currently, my stats are

• STR - 11
• AGI - 12
• VIT - 1
• INT - 1
• DEX - 40
• LUK - 92

What are the skills recommended? Did I messed up my current skills and stats?

I plan to get the following skills

• Katar Mastery - 10
• Sonic Blow - 4
• Enchant Poison - 5
• Venom Dust - 5
• Poison React - 10
• Venom Splasher -10
• Cloacking - 5

For my stats, should STR be 90(-ish) or AGI be 90(-ish)? Is Cloaking Lv5/Sonic Blow Lv4 worth giving up for Enchant Poison Lv10/Venom Dust Lv8?

Hi, there. Firstly, I think you might've added a little too much LUK. If you are going for Poison build (which almost nobody recommends at all), you'll need way more STR because Venom Splasher is based on ATK. With no STR = No ATK = Poor Venom Splasher DMG. Even if you wanna compliment your Poison build with Crit (I'm guessing that's why you added so much LUK in the first place), 90+ LUK is ridiculously high. I really suggest you either make a new Sin, or get the free reset at Eden Headquarters. I recommend the former though, considering you're not that high leveled yet. Besides, the free reset could save tens of millions of zeny later on. What I suggest for new players to aim for is a Crit Sin build. It's usually the cheapest and somewhat fast leveling. Try this:

STR: 70-80+
AGI: 80-90+
Dex: 30-40+
LUK: 30

You could (if you want) invest more points into STR instead of AGI. Your Improve Dodge Skill gives +40 Flee and usually Sins with 90+ AGI have way more flee than they need to level. Besides more STR adds more dmg and a strong offense is a good defense as well.

Equips:
Armor/Garment: Pantie/Undershirt Combo (gives 5AGI+10FLEE)
Weapon: +6 Triple SoldierSkel Jur (this adds 27% Crit but since you're a Sin, 27 x 2 = 54% Crit) OR Elemental Katars (aim for non-slotted for now)
Accessory: 2x Kobold Clips/Belts (each Kobold card gives 5%Crit+1STR so two of em = 10%Crit+2STR)
Shoes: Not that important but if you can afford one, +4 Martyr/Verit/FirelockSoldier Boots (this is really quite unnecessary though.)
Headgear: Hairbrush/LunaticHat (both give 6% Crit each except LunaticHat is 5%Crit+3LUK but since you're a Sin, 12% Crit)

With all these equips, you should have 27+5+5+6= 43% Crit (for Sins, 43% x 2 = 86%)
Sins don't get bonus LUK points so with 30 LUK you'll get 30/3 = 10% Crit
Total Crit = 43+10 = 53% Crit OR 106% Crit (note that mobs' LUK also has effect on your Crit Rate so I suggest getting your Crit up to over 100% Crit)

That's about it. Of course, this is just a beginner guide for beginner Sins. Your choice of equipment increases if you've got zeny.

P.S. For all the pros out there, don't flame my guide. I'm not that great myself. Just saying what I know or think I know.
