Well I was just wondering
Priest, Shaman, Knight, or Wizard?
I do both my fair share of PvE and PvP
So which one would be pretty balanced in both of those areas?
Also I'm not too sure on Knight, since I don't really like melee characters

So what does everyone think I should do?

I really hope you haven't been waiting all this time for an answer. My answer I don't think will even be very helpful but, for me, I try everything out in a game until like level 5-10 and then decide which I like best. I think you should do the same.

But anyway, let's analyse your post.

You say you dislike Melee, so Knight might not be for you. When you first become a Knight, you will be using the same style as warrior for a few levels. Later up the level chart, Knights are known for being a pretty cheap/awesome PvP class, depending on wether you're being locked or are locking.

Shamans, you need at least a level 20 character to even create one. You WILL have a terribad time until your 3rd job, but if you can make it until then, you'll have a great PvE class

Priests can be described as Carpal Tunnel that can heal and sometimes use skills. Another nice PvE and PvP class.

Wizards are always in demand for their AoEs. They can clear a group of monsters in seconds, but still squishy.

Wizards are one of the best tank classes in the game.

just to say...knight/dragoon are the best pvp and pve class in the game with highest burst aoe damage, ninja is only one that can single mob faster

Priest are amazing for mobbing as well.
