If you do have any screenshots showing the portal as well that would probably help them to tell why you couldn't pick up the items. xD

Acid here,

from the screenie you can see that that is where the portal is but because zinja was there when the portal spawned she cant see portal, but there is one so if you were to go near the edge you will go to the next floor,

That ALMOST happened to a party I went with. What we did was Heal Bee up so that he was no longer running, and drag him somewhere else (so that when he runs, he won't go to that spot again).

Anyone who thinks wearing those rings speeds up reflect killing doesn't know much about it.

Your situations are very independent. An open BB in South Pront is different from a party's kill in Endless. It's a lot easier to tell it belongs to you because it's your instance than if you're asking for something that was killed in an open map.

Even with a chat up you still get sucked into portals.

Here's what will work:
- Move to about 4 cells away from the portal.
- Click on an item or a cell near multiple items, and use a magnifier* almost immediately after clicking.
- Pick up as many items as you can without moving.
- Repeat as necessary.

* You can also cast a skill that fails like low-level cloak or item appraisal. This works better than items if you have a lot of lag.
