Even with a chat up you still get sucked into portals.

Here's what will work:
- Move to about 4 cells away from the portal.
- Click on an item or a cell near multiple items, and use a magnifier* almost immediately after clicking.
- Pick up as many items as you can without moving.
- Repeat as necessary.

* You can also cast a skill that fails like low-level cloak or item appraisal. This works better than items if you have a lot of lag.

or you can just bring a gx along with you to pick em up in cloakexceed

Sorry To Say YOU are being Very ABSURD and Retarded. IF we were able to pick the items in the fist place THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR SUPPORT. THE REASON I HAVE SHOWN U THE SCREEN SHOTS AND THE FORUMS LINK IS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE INVOLVED AND THIS HAPPENED IN AN INSTANCE DUNGEON and YOU KNOW FOR SURE THAT THOSE ITEMS BELONG TO US. I AM SURE THE OTHER PARTY MEMBERS HAVE SENT U TICKETS TOO.
IF YOU CANT RESTORE ITEMS then GENERATE NEW ONES FOR US . WE JUST WANT WHAT WE COULD NOT GET DUE TO THE BUGGY PORTAL SYSTEM. YOU GUYS HAVE NOT IMPLEMENTED A NEUTRAL BARRIER AROUND THE PORTAL SO THAT THINGS LIKE THESE DON'T HAPPEN. THE MONSTERS SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAND ON PORTAL AREA OR DROP ITEMS ON IT. IT IS YOUR FAULT.

Obviouly insulting the GM team for your own failings rather than using reason such as

"if you check the logs you will see that these items dropped and as such are on a portal (I think they may not know thats a portal since the effects are off) - and we worked very hard to get these items, via killing the mvp beelzebub, could they please be restored to our party leader ____ as this is a very sad thing to have happened to us, through no fault of our own as we did not realize the mvp was on top of the portal. We have lost < time> <money> <zeny> <kafra points> to do this and it would mean a lot if we could have our work given back to us"

.... I think that would get you further than stringing together ragecaps into insults.

I have to agree, you're shooting the messenger, and I've been that person enough times to know it's not very fun.

I would close that ticket ASAP before the support member reads it, as I don't think there will be any positive results from it.

Your situations are very independent. An open BB in South Pront is different from a party's kill in Endless. It's a lot easier to tell it belongs to you because it's your instance than if you're asking for something that was killed in an open map.

Lets see what you would say when you happen to kill an MVP and it drops its card ( MVP CARD ) and a portal opens up on the mvp card.

There should not be any way for this sort of things to happen. Monsters SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET ON TOP OF PORTALS AND DROP ITEMS ON IT. if neutral barriers around NPC can be implemented So can it be done for the portals. If not for all the maps At least for the instanced dungeons like ET.

Items cannot drop on walls right? Why would it not be possible to make portals a nondrop zone too?
