Get screenies of the deal and make a ticket mail to GMs. ROPD the god item's owner and make sure that account is the one you're dealing with in-game.

basically, both parties send in a ticket describing the deal, what was traded, char names, etc.

The GMs will probably send a ticket back asking for very specific information. I've done it a few times ;p

This is nonsense.

I think I'll write up the process and try to get it stickied in tech support :)

Unfortunately this IS right, I saw some poor soul drop their asprika once and a bot running by to payon caves nabbed it from half a screen away.

Please tell me you were able to get it back to that player?!?!

I mean that would just be so wrong not to have the bots arse kicked so bad for using 3rd party hacks. I assume thats how they grabbed it from half a screen as you say.

If they didn't well this is just such a depressing story :)

EDIT: I thought I read somewhere that God items were NOT able to be dropped to stop this very thing from happening, which is why you have to contact GM's to do the trade.

Pretty much exactly the same. The key thing is that both sides have to write in. Here's the things the ask for

Server:
Item:
Creator:
My Account Name:
My Full Name:
My Email Address:
Date Created:
Date/Time Traded:
What was Traded for the God Item:
Current Owner:
New Owner:

Good luck ;p

Another reason you should never ever ever give out personal details or your Facebook account.

Anyone can send a ticket pretending to be you. You don't need to be signed in to send a ticket, so they don't even need your password.

It is the e-mail the account is registered to, but if you do get scammed they check the logs to make sure the trade is legit and you didn't trade the item from the same real world location; they make sure you're you and the seller is the legitimate seller based on where the accounts are logging in from when they do the trade. So even if you got scammed, they're going to verify the transfer.

Also, sure I guess you could drop your god item but then you deserve a two week ticket before it gets restored. It was a troll post.

I'm sure you could easily obtain the email address someone registered with. Especially if they were stupid enough to use it as their MSN email.

Also the logs are nothing.
Based on where the accounts are logged in from - easily can use a proxy to avoid.

ALSO.. the GM's will not roll back a trade that they do.
Simply because you could trade $$$ for a God Item, and do the "transfer" then get them to roll it back, and keep the god item and the $$$.

The whole system is flawed.
