Hi, I'm a lvl 110 sky blow sura and my skill sets are:

5 sky net blow
1 power velocity (the spirit transfer skill)
1 GT: cure
1 GT: Silence
2 GT: energy gain
3 dragon combo
2 earth shaker
3 rampage blaster
1 cursed circle

Now i tried magma 2, and the mobs die after almost 5 sky net blow which is somewhat costly, hp and sp wise. I used a stat calc and it seems that if i had gone for gentle touch change first, it could have been much better.

The thing is I'm not planning on staying SNB till 150, was planning to reset by lvl 130 to Lighting Ride, but that's still far... I dunno if i should reset now to Lightning Ride, with which i could 2 shot magma 2, or should i buy a neuralizer and still go for SNB and GT:Change. SNB is cool because i don't have a rideword hat and Nid, and i gain my sp by earth deleter armor. With LR build i can't do that anymore, but i'm halfway to buying a 99m rideword hat... if there is one for 99m.

So what do you guys think? Appreciate the helps and tips!

ps:

rideword hat first or a nid manteau? both are expensive.

Also level 110 Sura on Ymir here! Haha.
I also had the same problem last week: I couldn't decide on whether to buy Rideword, 2xMali Carga, or Imm. Nyd first.
I asked other suras in game and received mixed answers. But most of them said rideword.
I decided to keep my eye on the market for the cheapest deal I could find on any of those three. After a few days, a Rideword Hat slotted with Willow card appeared so I bought that for cheap.
Now I see the difference with Rideword for mobbing. It helps you stay alive often.

My suggestion is to do the same as me.. look for items that people think are tainted because they already have a card in them: hat with whatever card, Nyd with whatever card.
Those items will be almost as effective but sometimes half price! You can also set up a chat window overnight asking for carded Hats or Nyds.

Lol, you think that's good, wait til you see what it does with the other two combined

P.S. I went rideword first, then carga, then immune nid. However, that was only because I had an immune muffler from years ago when I played. Otherwise I would go for the immune nid before the carga IMO.

I'll tell u what I did when i was a level 110ish sura , so you'll know if its good to copy or not.
I used +7 Carga Mace with 2x Hunterfly Cards and ridewordhat. Those two factors you pretty much need.
Then like, I had lvl 10 Rising Dragon and level 5 Lightning ride, So like, just 3 LR and the mobs in nogg 2 dies, or use a level 5 Rampage Blaster, they deal like,more than 16k dmg, its very nice ..

But reason i had those skills maxed cuz I did Turn in event and keep[ putting all exp to my job._. and a job bm..

But hm, if thats not ur case,u can just maybe..reset now, and like, go for LR, like just gotta zen>LR three times for mobs to dies, OR u can stick with ur SNB cuz u said it dies in 5 SNB which is nice~
