I already have a DoC ready to use, which is why I assume I don't need much DEX. I used the irowiki suggested build, so...

I had to get around 20 Dex starting just to hit stuff while as Taekwon barefisted. Do you intend to use exp turn ins?

Are you going to max Kaahi?

A dagger of counter is really only fun if you're fighting monsters with moderate defense (or if you want to make crit sins cry when in a massive kihop party). You'll switch to a different weapon from time to time as a battle linker when fighting monsters that have low defense (so you'd use a carded gladius) or high defense (so you'd use an ice pick), so you'll want a bit more DEX than you have planned.

I'm actually not having that much trouble hitting stuff at all... ._.

And yes, I plan on maxing Kaahi.

In practice with my battle linker, I found that damage wise DoC + Element > Quad Carded MG + Element

that build is fine, maybe 90 Agi for 80 Str?

My main is actually a crit Linker, I'll post my lvl99 stats too:

STR - 82+8
AGI - 95
VIT - 42+8
INT - 28+14
DEX - 8+12
LUK - 1+0

(The extra bonus points come from a Purple Cowboy Hat and 2 Rings of Mustle)
It does quite well in PVM although I fare a little bit worse in WoE (by a little I mean a lot ), btw you guys are able to use Kaahi levels higher than 4? I find that over 4 it drains my Sp way too much to be viable, at least with my current max Sp.
