SP isn't a problem with Mage classes. You need more defense against neutral than elements. Diabolus wins.

high upgrade Immune Valk and Hodre Orleans for a Sorc. PW involves mobbing. PD is win for mobbing.

You do more dmg with a +12 Kronos and +9 KK CoD as opposed to +12 TSoD and +7 skull cap.

If you take CoD and Kron you have to put it up against.

Tsod, SC plus shield plus midheadgear.

When said mid headgear is a aria bfg and the shield a hodre orleans its no contest for mobbing, soloing low lvl mvps and general lvling.

You'd be pretty squishy without a shield. An overupped TSoD is so in demand because it is so much more versatile than an overupped Kronos. I mean, there's a reason why the difference in their prices is so massive :/ And if you're talking about damage, it's not like the TSoD loses out by billions and billions of damage. Also, if your TSoD is say, +12, it has a 12/2*3% = 18% after-cast delay reduction. Coupled with a D.Robe, it's a total of 10%+18% = 28% after-cast delay reduction (that's one Kiel-D Card for free right there. Lol.). Makes skills a lot more spammable if you don't have a stringer. And let's face it, the CoD isn't really the greatest looking headgear out there :/ Skull Cap is adorable! <3

12-18k elemental pwave hits are worth it, everything's usually dead by time it gets to you. With CoD + ventus instant cast is easy, on strings I can even get instant with a phen (which is pointless lol.)

Well, then it's just a matter of opinion what people think is more important to them, I guess. So you use a +12Kronos?

Sorry but 12-15k on kronos is just a nonsense based on having instant cast at same time most likely done in a pront test. Firstly you'd need brilliant other gears and to be hitting a frking 0mdef mob. You'd get no where near that on a scarab. Instant cast with ventus is also dumb as gwing and oh the mobs killed it before anyone appears.

With agni, 12-15k on scarabs is quite common iirc.
