My character is a baby wizard okay... and their is no way I can see myself passing that test anytime at ALL!!
Their has got to be some other way... at least make it just a little bit easier! right now its inhuman even for what they give you
to fight with (the rainbow rubies help but I can't get past the second wave for the life of me)
I just wish there was either an easier way or something because as it stands... that quests seems impossible...
I worked hard only to see myself get shot down too many times and already 2 mil waisted on white potions...
Here is what I do so nobody says Im just not doing the quest right.
I bring up to 120 white potions for one
As soon as I enter I use storm gust lvl 1 to freeze the enemies in their tracks, run all the way to the other side and zap the aquas.
That's the easy part
then I wait for them to get unfrozen and use crimson lock on the Nagas TWICE and it doesnt even kill them, so I have to freeze them and by then I'm down half my whites
The Nagas and Golems seem to have WAY too much hp for being in a mob against a tiny wizard or against a high wizard regardless
Somehow I make it past the first wave so I go to the corner with the aqua spawn and get rid of them right away but...
I cant survive the rest of the round...
What the hell can be done? I know many have already made this complaint about this quest but literally, the quest is INHUMAN!!

Your best bet is to reduce damage as much as possible.

1) Bring a water-elemental armor(Swordfish carded)

2) Race shields(If you have the funds, get both a Peno Valk and a Orc Warrior Valk). If you can't afford the Peno Valk, I'd recommend a Brute(Orc Warrior card) shield of any sort as the minimum. The Naga are considered Brute.

3) Marse carded garment


Use lv1 SG to freeze everything that can be frozen. Then use JT10 or Chain Lightning Stone to dispose of the Water Elementals. I'd recommend limiting yourself to 2 Chain Lightning Stones for the 1st round. Don't waste your time with the Earth Strain Stone.


Extra Note to Consider: Frost Misty has a chance to inflict Freezing(Not Frozen) status on the monsters. This status effect will allow you to deal slightly more damage with certain magic attacks.

I stopped reading here. I don't think I can play a Wizard character without Soul Drain or Mystical Amplification.


Baby characters just really have it tough. I can't understand why people play them.

People who complain monsters/tests are hard because they normally don't wear the proper reduction gears. What makes me facepalm are when I hear phrases like "What's a Thara Frog card?"

That test is not that hard after all... u just gotta get use to play your character left and right and that's about it... You might be able to pass it like me w/o phen =P

I lost over 3 mil on white pots before I passed it, and the mobs are retarded!
DON'T THINK BECAUSE YOUR CHARACTER IS A HIGH WIZARD YOU ARE AN ACCEPTION!
I know many people who went through it 100 times before succeeding and some even gave up on it.

the thing is....
The test is not fun at all and its Anguishing to watch your character die again and again and again...

I do not recomend warlock for anyone who is a casual player, you will pull your hair out at this quest!

Or you could have settled being a High Wizard instead of Baby Wizard. Unless you really wanted a Baby Warlock for the looks and giggles, playing a Baby character for something serious (like leveling to 150 or WoEing for example) without any help will be hell...

At end game, you'll realize why your spells are so weak because you can't mystical amplify. You'll also run into SP issues without Soul Drain even if you have 4k-5k SP. Hopefully, you have a Sorcerer or an AB as a parent.

People just over exaggerated the quest. I got it on my second try. First one was without pots.
Just SG 1. Corner Chain the Aquas. Corner JT/SG lv ! Repeat the whole process. And grats you are a lock

I just tried this stupid job change, at least 6 times.
I have good/decent gears
this quest needs to be changed because it is terrible.
Whoever thought of it should not ever work in video games again.
I wasted pots, token of siegs and time.
CHANGE THIS QUEST INTO SOMETHING REASONABLE

The quest is horrible if you have a bad connection to the server or a slow computer. It is possible to be dead before the map loads. One thing that helps is to buy a level 6 or higher spear merc, activate it before you go in. When all the monster aggro it, it'll buy you 1 or 2 seconds to get the first SG off.

I have now done it at least 10 more times:
getting killed before it loads.
Can't out pot the aquas damage.
stones will cancel out when hit(i have a phen card).
got frozen on entering, died instantly.
now i have to waste zeny on cards and gears i will never use again.
also 300+ white potions in the garbage along with 5 tokens.

I have a baby warlock on Valk server. 100 slims and 2 tokens were enough to pass the test.

1- Enter with Storm Gust level 1 and stop EVERYTHING.
2- Lure the aquas away, spamming Frost Nova until they freeze. [You NEED water armor to do it]
3- Chain Lighting those stupid aquas. Both will be gone right after you cast it. Around 10k damage per blow.
4- Run to the corner and use Storm Gust 10, to hit and kill whatever breaks the ice. If the mob is too hard, use storm gust 1, and choose only one to kill. You can staff your freezing target while SG is falling. You can use your Crimson Rock or Chain Lighting rubies if you desire. BUT DON'T USE ALL YOUR CHAIN LIGHTINGS
5- Repeat on second set, but this time, start casting from the northwest corner, so only the nagas run up to you, and you can kill slowly the rest.

And yes, I have Frost Nova 10 instead of Jupitel Thunder 10, this can be a build problem... But baby support warlocks... Are you SURE they need DPS?

The most important gear you need is the water armor, so you can drop each waterball hit to around 40.

FINALLY!
I did it with:
rudolf hairband
300+ carrots
10+blue potions
+4 unfrozen divine cloth (marc card)
+4 stone buckler of basis (tatacho card)
+5 sylph la'cyrma stick (hill wind)
and later eden gears

Storm gust and jupitel thunder everything except the aquas
Walk to the bottom left spamming carrots, lure the aquas into the corner.
Also bring at least 2 tokens of siegfried just in case.

This is the worst job change hands down.

I thought the test was pretty easy eacually. Mage -> wiz change was harder. I did the lock change on my hwiz with the eden gears and still still passed on my frist try. It's all about knowing what to expect and knowing how to play your class. Ranger test was 1000000x harder for me xD sorc test was super easy, but can cost you 100's of crystal blues, red bloods, green lives, and wind of verude if you're unlucky like me xD used over 700 crystal blues <.<

Hmmm I made 2 warlocks so far and had no problem doing the warlock quest... heck it took me less than 2 minutes to finish the killing part (I barely used those those scrolls with warlock's spells)

I'm going to make another warlock soon (need a warlock in each server so I can woe more per week lol)... so it was my miss not to record the test... but as soon as my hw is ready to do the test, I shall frap it and post it here...

Once you 150 your warlock... you can do something like this:
