Basically what it says in the title. I really want to start playing this game, therefore i want to know what the best dps race and class is because thats always my style withing MMORPG's thankyou

Well preferably melee so what is the BEST DPS for melee. sorry i wasnt exactly too specific and its preferably for pve aswell, so would be against mobs and bosses etc.

Either Berserker or Assassin.

The Berserker use 2h weapons, can charge and deal huge crits.

The Assassin can stealth, have more stuns hit less but faster.

Ahhh thankyou. ill have a look at both and see which i prefer. see i cant find anything on any forums about class discussion really other than how to level and create certain builds, thing is i dont know which build is high dps damage dealer and which builds arent so i thought i'd ask which is the best dps class then find out which is best build.

Berzerkers are indeed capable of huge dps, also they have high HPs and decent def. Assassins are pretty decent damage dealers too, they can also have nice criticals and have several good skills that incapacitate and cripple.
There is also another choice with potential, although a bit harder. I am talking about Commander. This class can achieve pretty decent dps with time, despite being a 1-h weapon + shield one. What they might lack in huge damage capacity they compensate in awesome def and very high HPs too. With the right build, you can have superb def and health and deal pretty good damage, especially at high levels. And it is probably the only class with 3 good aoe skills that you can spam a lot. Overall, can take down fairly large groups of enemies and with great survivability. And since you mention PvE, I would recommend it to you, though you will need some patience to advance and build it.

Commander lacks in straight up DPS compared to the other two mentioned, but Commander's AoE attacks more than compensate for that. It is difficult to get it to a high level, but once there you will make about anything short of a tempest or defiler feel insecure about their PVE capabilities, and it's a decent PVP character at very high levels to boot.

there is no need to fix 2h blud dmg its ok...need to fix 2h sword dmg
and before u gonna quote me and say they wont fix in some sarcastic way cuz many ppl payed alot to reinf and enchant swords for skill spam ...id like to remind u of the nice sin population that spend alot to make 8/8 rare and 7/7 exi jewels with skill crit for infection ,poisom arrow and poison of malice
and ofc the pinacle of investment in +15 and above FoC and +17 and more exi jewels with light dmg 3-3 and skil crit and wands/bluds +10 and above with 20-20 inside for prot heals
im sure every1 thought the same that it werent going to change

well i expect same thing to happen fo swords so if there is 1 smart person to +a blud for skill spam ...dont laugh
