To assist in my learning of the game haha ; ]
I'll mostly be available to play during the afternoon/evening (central time) and most of tuesday/thursday.

I'm starting an archer, and I am lvl 9/7.. I was looking at guides and they said to level in payon forest 'till level x/9
SO I left the training ground (lots of willows) to find a bunch of stuff that messes me up pretty good and very few willows. Also I think Beelzebub killed me 5x trying to run past him (was spawned at the entrance to payon forest?? lol 3500-4000 damage. OHKO. sweet. no experience loss though)

Anyway I guess I'm looking for someone to help tank until I can advance to my first job. And some friends to level with/BS whatever.

YES, LOL he was literally just through the zone to payon forest. He was so much faster than my little guy that I couldn't outrun him 'till he drifted far enough away. x-amount of deaths later hahaha.

Does anyone want to tank for me? I'm running out of pots. (Maybe I'm just playing my archer stupidly.)

I'm thinking about starting a new character, maybe a vit/spear knight or something. I need to watch some more videos and see what's out there, have never even seen any of the mages/thiefs in action.

Condensed archer guide:

How are you playing your archer?

You should have killed spores until job change.

All of your points should be put into dexterity.

After jobchange, you should go one east and one north of prontera and kill Mandragoras. Stems and Cards are valuable items.

After these get slow, go three maps south of Juno, being careful to stay away from harpies on the second map. On this map, kill Floras. Run away from the Ungoliant if you see it, but he's pretty slow so not much to worry about. You can probably doublestrafe the metalings to death, but this'll eat up your SP, so stick to floras. The Geographers heal, so don't fight stuff that is close to them.

After Floras get slow, go one map north of Einbroch. Kill single geographers, avoiding ones in large groups.

That is how I was shown to solo an archer character at least. You can probably skip to the later end of killing floras/metalings if you use bill of birds to skip to level 31/21.

Almost all your points should be going into dexterity until it is 8x/9x. You should not use hardly any potions at all or be tanking anything if you follow this.
Your short-term ultimate goal in terms of stats/gear is to be able to OHKO Hillwinds with double strafe.

I've been keeping dex/agi pretty even. So I guess I'll stop putting points into agi and go full dex for awhile.

I'm not sure what the use of Bill of birds is, but my character name is Keif De La Reef
