[Confused]

I've been getting this bug for months, and would like to know if any of you guys have experienced it or have a solution to it apart from reinstalling the game.

When I warp to Numaren through warp gates my character keeps "jumping" - not exactly jumping but keeps resetting me to where they drop me from when I warp, so it looks like I keep jumping. I can't move to anywhere else cause it keeps resetting me to that spot wherever I try to move. I can see others moving and talking normally. I can't even use return since it somehow makes the combat stance stay. (I can enter FOC though, but the problem can't be solved when I get out from it)

The only choice to get out is to get someone duel me and kill with dot, respawn and I'll be out of combat stance (still jumping like crazy) to use return. (a new function allows me to respawn at return point does the job too)

So I would like to ask if anyone here has faced the same problem or has a solution apart from installing. Thank you.

hmmm. that sounds really ed up.

Have had that recurring at spawn in Battlegrounds like many, but not that particular spot. Leave that craptastic map (Trifi's got the NPCs, mailbox, SvsS vendors, warpgate, spawn point, TD, all same spot so it's lagtastic imho.
[EDIT: oh, Numaren. nope. havent had that there. sorry.
I'm reinstalling game now cuz i had it pause for 2mins before closing on Exit, which was new for me, so I dunno.]

I've been searching for ways to download the setup again, I got the direct download link but it has CRC errors (just like what happened in S2 fresh release) so I feel like fixing it with the torrent file, but the link is broken on the site. Where exactly did you get the file for reinstallation?

Actually, I have experienced the same... both times in Numaren at the return location. Had to submit a ticket to support, they moved my character while I was offline and it solved the problem. The other time I just burned 15 cents using a Transport Control Equipment to warp to a different location in Numaren, whatever, both ways worked (this one being a hell of alot faster than the other) but no reinstall was needed.

Oh, and when I tried the Extract without confirmation option with WinRAR it extracted the setup which worked fine after having gotten CRC errors trying to just extract normally.

Thanks for the reply.

But then, all my characters are having the same problem whenever I warp. Am I sharing the same bug with you? If that's the case I may consider buying a transport control blabla thing...whenever I want to go to Numaren. But I'm scared that even it solves the problem for once, it would happen again when I go there using warp gates.

Hmm...

I have only had this happen to me 2 or 3 times, not every time I warp and only on one Character, not all of them.

I am pretty sure it is the same bug but I am not sure it had the same cause, now that you have explained it's happening to all characters every time you map move...

I still think, for the first time it starts happening, you should submit a ticket to support if nothing else at least you reported it, so it's recorded somewhere. In the end though, if re-install usually goes well for you, it has a chance to fix it, so as long as you can get the setup, it only takes 10 minutes or so to actually install and then another 10-45 minutes (depending on where you live and connection strength), so it cannot hurt to try.
