so... whats the difference between weaving and power weaving? both seem to do the exact same thing and increasing power weaving's level doesn't seem to do anything. it seems odd that we'd get 2 skills with the same purpose but we use them on seperate keys with seperate cooldowns.. wouldn't it make sense to just have 1 that can be used multiple times before a cooldown starts? like... say the skill gets 2 uses before going on cooldown. or something idk. maybe they have different uses but this is what i'm seeing and it confuses me.

A system like that with two uses before a separated cooldown might require awkward programming or programming that'd be glitchy. Although there is much sense in what you are saying, it's possible that it could be impractical from a programmer's viewpoint.

The regular weave just moves the direction you're facing, Power weave can move in any direction, and also gives you a secret buff which increases your aim and critical damage by 15% for 2 seconds.

Having two weaves (for now) is a good thing :o

i'm aware of the "immersion" buff but as for normal weaving, once i got lvl 1 power weaving both could be aimed in a direction so i mean... it just seems REALLY impractical and having both on my hotkey bar limits the rest of my skills, granted i dont really pvp much on my mirage but having 2 pretty much identical skills seems weird

Consider it a form of tact. You can have two invici-dashes to use and time well. While it would make more sense to just have a longer dash that can grant the buff or do as you suggested, it puts a bit of effort of thinking into maneuvering the class. Keep in mind Weaving and Power Weaving are primarily PvP-based skills. It would be far too easy to just allow a single large dash but clearly they liked the concept; so instead you must keep on your toes at all times, use your Weave skills strategically, while maneuvering your twin and navigating your main character. Truly it's a class for a quick mind to use.

eh, i suppose. but still Mirage is already quite heavy on the active skill count so its hard enough to keep track of all their attacks/positioning/keeping track of twin but now 2 weaves xD hard not to be overwhelmed by the class. but i guess its just supposed to be hotkey/timing sensitive.

That is precisely the point. It takes a bit of--and I'm hesitant to use the word since people find them so despicable in PvP--but it takes a bit of skill to keep track of it.

Even though we may have seen the potential of this class I still say it's far too early to worry about changing anything. Granted there are aspects even I don't agree with, it's not exactly fair to want to change a class based on how well a single person can use it.

You misunderstood. I by no means want to change the class as a whole. I love the concept of it and enjoy it for what it is, but I just wasn't sure if there was any real point to having 2 basically identical skills and just offered my thoughts about it.

I didn't misunderstand. I just decided to post that here instead of the fighter topic.

And I didn't even quote you
