Aren't the Honey Bee's/Insects in general supposed to drop insect wings? I have never gotten them to do this. I have even tried the medal of retrieval and got everything but insect wings!

I was able to get a mess load of them from the pincers in xita refuge before they turned white on me. Thinking about lvling to that level and then just farm with the nix exp option. I did notice that they are rare now.
