I place a skill in the shortcut bar that I don't want there/want to use. How i remove it from my short cut bar???

You can't really remove things from the skill bar, the best you can do is drag an item or a different skill over the one you placed accidentally.

Move a skill you want over the skill you don't want and then move the skill you want back into its original position.
