Will we ever get a patch where merc's and homu's will have their kills count towards TI's? I dont see why they shouldnt. Not like it would ruin turn ins.

Thats what im wondering too, i feel like this was on kRO well before the skills patcher. Hmmm maybe it will come when 14.1 comes

I'm not looking forward to this. I can already see sh!tloads of afk chemist parking thier ugly asses at turn in maps. Why are we supporting the playing of this game by NOT playing? Do not want, force them to work their asses like everyone else and yes I do have a little sheep that I force to work as monster bait.

Yea but even if they afk you know how many hours it will take them to actually get it? Probly about 5 times longer than if they were in a party. A turn in that takes 2 hours with a full party would take them at least 5-6.

It's not only TI that are affected. It's the same with normal Eden Group Quests or Quests like the Overlook Water Dungeon.
I found it annoying that I couldn't go there as FS Aco with a Merc (since I leveled with Merc's till 80~ HP due to the lack of share).
Also, you can simply cut all Eden Group Quests out if you're an Alchemist with Homunculus - cause you wanna level WITH your homunculus, and not without.
But if the Homunculus gets the last hit - it doesn't count, which is annoying as hell for non-afk alchemists, while afk-alchemists don't have to care for those quests...

What is yalls freaking problem with chemist.

I see this crap all the time. Its stupid, What are you jealous. "OMG why dont I get to do that with my class""I wanna be able to do that too" whine whine

Actually I would love that to happen. I dont even play my chemist anymore cus they are getting nerfed so bad soon. If a bunch of chemist did invade one of these maps, guess what happens? Most these maps have instant monster respawn which means the monsters would be appears/respawning other places on the map. Give me more chances to hit up mobs and get my own turn in.

Don't give me that crap about how long it takes to do with a Homunc. I don't need hordes of lazy ass people that b!tch and complain about people ks'ing their homunc when they just park their asses at one spot all day like it's got their name on it. Could take them a year to do for all I care, it just shouldn't be allowed. Take away the exp you get from homuncs while you're at it. The world doesn't need more lazy pieces of sh!t loitering around but knowing how Gravity works, if enough people complain about getting it to make this game even easier and they can make a buck for it, it'll happen.

Leveling your homunc is one thing, using them as a means to get exp and kill counts is something else. You might as well just bot.

Who's says anything about being jealous? I have a homunc. Based on your logic it would mean that the bot infested maps are actually REALLY good since the monsters would respawn in other places right?? Yeah ok.

idk why you are being so adament about this. It is something already implamented into the game (on kRO). Plus with all these TI's dont you think that would be a more viable way to lvl other than afking? I mean in the time it take to get a turn in and finish it you can gain easily 50% on base or job. While i could take a full day to get that by homu lvling. There arent any good maps to lvl on with a homu anymore (afking that is). Cause the maps that ppl afk on are all lower level things that give horrible exp(i.e ant hell), so they would never lvl a character there. Even if they afk on a turn in map, ppl are gonna be ksing them anyway. And who cares if they complain about it...its their fault for afking in the first place. Honestly i wouldnt be suprised if they could even finish one turn in because they would be ks'ed constantly.

On the topic of merc's though. I think this would be a great way to bring them back. Because since renwal people have stopped using them basically. They are almost a forgotten trend. If they can now count for kill counts, lower lvl characters can start getting loyalty on them and use them to help with eden quests.

Honestly, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd like it if my kills went towards my Homun the same as it's kills go to me. I fight with my homun. I don't see the point of afking (because you'll lose loyalty if you're gone for too long). All I can do now to level it up is tank for it while it kills. And yeah, I can't even have it out if I do a TI or it'll take me 3 times as long to finish, easy.

And it'd be nice to just mercs, too, on full support classes. I still have a few level 99 ones in storage from years ago I don't pull out because they're basically worthless.

It would give a reason to make battle build-type Summons for Sorcerers. I find it saddening that they're used for mostly buffs. The 193aspd is merely there as a cool factor. People don't welcome its attacking presence when it comes to TI's.

Wow see, its people like this who get all angry about it.

I have always stood by either, people like this need to get over it. Or homuns need to be removed from game.

Since homun is staying in, how about just getting over it.

Back to subject, i think its a wonderful idea to give homuns and merc kill counts.
It seems kinda pointless to not do it. I havent seen a legitimate reason for them to not get it.
Like the fact that someone said it has been put into kro, means we should get it at some point.
Hiem is prolly hording cool facts like that to spring on us later.

I wonder how an afk person can complain about ks... *shrugs* If someone complains, that means he/she is sitting there, watching the homun grind, feeding it before intimacy drops too low, maybe eventually gathering drops, etc. It's boring, and helluva time consuming. Anyways, that's a choice over grinding. Respect that choice of other players, and mind your own ways leveling your own characher. If it bothers you seeing an alchemist sitting on a map then well.... the space unoccupied by them is much larger than the corner they sit in, so go there and do your grinding instead of complaining.

As for the opening post: i like the idea, hope it's going to happen. Not like i could use my homun in turnins anymore, as i'm too high level for him, but i remember how annoying it was that i always had to vaporize my homun when going to do eden quests or turnins. So +1 for the killcount thing.
