Here I go, I've been playing ROSE 3 years...Off and on. And the breaks are about half a year or less. But I've never been in the upper levels so I've never had the real fun of ROSE. I'm a level 87 currently, Hawker, And i'm going to reset my stats and my skills for Scout. I've always been the ranged type of guy mainly because I've been taken down by surprise by other Mages/Scouts in some PvP scenarios. But yes, I need someone to guide me which way I should go with Scout.

Stat wise; I've read around and saw go full Dex and rest Con, 2:1 ratio for Dex:Con leveling up. Is this a good idea or no? I'm not sure exactly what stats I should go for right now. I'm thinking about just going PvE build then at 215 redoing stats/skills for PvP. Or is there a way I can go PvE but still win fair amounts of battles?

Skill wise; I pretty much know the basics of the skill tree (Going for PvE right now unless otherwise) such as build up power and have some minor slowing mechanics with self-buffs at a medium. That's just my ideal PvE, if there is a much better Skill build for PvE please let me know. I'm going to soon reset my stats and skills within 24 hours.

Gear wise; I'm currently attempting to buy a bow...But it limits me since i'm left with 1.9m zulie since i've last played AND since I was a Katar Hawker I don't have much gear besides the plain Marine set, which i'm going to be upgrading from. I just might buy the Emperor's Loyal Bow but I don't know the stats of it. Like the Item Mall isn't displaying the pictures and such correctly.

lemonslayer is my in-game Hawker, level 87, building up from scratch to become a Scout. And please don't flame me, i'm new to the ROSE forums and I know this is probably the 20th so thread about Scouts but none other really help me since i'm in this situation of being level 87...resetting my stats and skills, etc. Haha well please help me as much as you can! I will simply ignore you if you try to troll me. Oh, and if you try to flame me.

If you plan to lvl up in parties i'd recommend u try and get the best gear/skills/stats you can for luring and don't waste ur sp on a pet, but if you want to be able to solo the pet helps aswell as the self buffs.

Statwise 2dex:1con per lvl is a good ratio that I think the majority of people use although i don't think alittle sen is a bad idea http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/happy.gif

What exactly is luring? If it's what I think it is, I hate it. Isn't it just shooting like 50 guys and running around with them while others in your party AoEs them to death? And i'm going to get the pet because me and my brother play ROSE leveling, and I need to go solo at times when he's away so I can catch up to him. I'm level 87 and he's 91 cleric.

I restatted and reskilled into a Scout at about level 98 (currently around 120). I had the same issues with obtaining a bow. I was low on zulie (except I had about five times what you have), and I still couldn't find a bow. Then again, I was picky, and wanted a clean Bow of Talons (highest level/DEX requirement unique bow). I had heard that they were about 10m (about what I had at the time) clean. But...I just couldn't seem to find a clean one, or one that was in my price range. However, upon looking into the Emperor's Loyal Bow, I found it to be the EXACT same as a clean Bow of Talons. So, to me, buying the Emperor's Loyal Bow was a good investment. It saved me a good bit of in-game money, and I got a really nice weapon out of it (not to mention that I think it aesthetically looks nice, too). Also...I upgraded several Bows of Wind Spirit. I broke all but one trying to get at least one to be better than my Emperor's Loyal Bow (7). The only reason I didn't break the last one is because it got to (8) and I didn't feel like refining anymore (and still wasn't better than my Lv. 70 Emperor's Loyal Bow). So...it's up to you. If you feel that it would be worth it, go for it.

i dont recommend gettin a good bow from IM........rather get kattyusha ears or sell ur IM points ...... 400 pts can fetch u good money if u know what to buy
the IM bow though gives a sure shot advantage that IM stuff never breaks so if you are getting 1.......try to upgrade it to a higher refine which seems hopeless considering ur current bank balance

clerics are always in demand (does he let u use his char)

find a generous arti to harden a bow for u......just make sure u have the blades.....its way cheaper that way

I agree with using your IM points for kitty ears there awesome http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/happy.gif And I wouldn't get a BoT at that lvl either even if you could afford it because the best thing about uniques is you can use them at lvl 1 with the right gear. If I was you i'd just use a hardened bow its way way cheaper


This hardened bow actually has more AP than a BoT for way way cheaper. A BoT does have crit too tho but its still costly!

I have now...20mil. Rofl sold two Trainee Medals. I still have some stuff to sell. I got lightning arrows, they are...Let's say...AMAZING. But they cost 500k for 999 lol...I use fire arrows, If Luna has some better for me, I will use them. Anyone wish to play ROSE with me for the fun of it? I'm leveling in DoD and trust me, any one of you could help me out loads. I'm like level 93 or 94 as of now. Me and my bro have separate computers. Yeah he's a cleric. We level up on anthraxes (Or whatever those scorpions are) in DoD and he heals like a boss. xP

But yeah, I went SCOUT! Woot. I went for mana regen, and the buffs first before any major skills. I have triple arrow and Clamp arrow, i'm going for stun arrow now, but it's hard to find a good party for DoD...=(

Figured I would update you guys, i'm level 140 now and scout. I'm rich, with 70mil and I have like the best bow I could use for a bit lol. Lemonslayer is my new scout and only scout =D

after 170-go to prison and u will be rich SOON
MCs is good too but for scout i just DUNNO
