Hello all!
Merry Badger in the Eden Group on the west side wall is not currently exchanging any items (except the eden merit badge) for her prizes but hints that some MVP drops are going to be accepted soon after a maitenance.

Any guesses on what items she is going to accept?

Heimdallr mentioned in previous maint patches that she may not at all, and instead he might work out a new system for mvp loot because he doesn't wanna mess up the merry badger who is as well made thing. Something like that, I can go find the post if you like. (:

Totaly QQ'd me, been saving up mvp items like mad for this, and I find out it might not happen /sob

Yeah, that's kinda lame, but it's understandable about not wanting to give people who killed like 30 mvps a day billions of eden merit badges too XD I think it's a good decision, but meanwhile, my storage is crying.

Keep hoarding, it just means it'll be a different NPC of some sort which makes sense, you dont want one NPC carrying TOO much load/options. She has a lot already.

As for what will be taken, equipment. No misc or usable items will be included (those would be for mvp summons, if anything). speculation is open as to what MVP equipment will be included, but keep in mind the overall goal is to make all mvps worthwhile killing. With that in mind your unlikely to see high end MVP's (valk, morroc, bee, ifrit) included as they are already worthwhile to kill.

Think along the lines of eddga, GTB, dracula etc. All those MVPs that without cards, are about as worthwhile to kill (or less so) as regular monsters.

Yeah, I think I remember heim saying somewhere basically any gears they drop that go for like, well, he said less than 100k, but it'll probably include some stuff that goes for a little more than that, that is MVP specific, such as Golden Gear, or Sphinx hat, will be the stuff you can trade.
