I had mixed feelings about apple products, but I must say that Jobs was someone to be admired for his vision and carry through. Certainly this is a sad day for people looking to buck the norm and do things a little different.
Heim, I'm sure you can help me!
I've been highly confused by the thread you just locked about trolls and whales. ><
Could you explain to me what is a troll?

Reminds me of art school.
"You need to get a Mac. They're better! PCs corrupt your files! By the way, the college offers a student discount and we get a cut of each sale."

i do think macs are faster for design/video editing. tho the "corrupt your files" part is just what teachers understood from it. its well known that teachers are "stoopider" than students.

I bought a dell for university and it fell apart and is being held together with duct tape. Probably should have saved the money for a Sony or Apple.
next time build it yourself. custom over brand any time. brand is another way of saying "-_-ty components with few highlights and a well known name to sell them"

I have to agree with that, stock PCs are usually only for the non-enthusiastic people and they usually have parts from the the lowest bidder or close to it.
